right!:headbanger:
just under 4liters is a gallon:)

you keep your american gallons to your self thank you =p =D

we got our own

i wouldnt worry too much about molasses if your not 'feeding the soil not the plant' level of organics, but if you happen to get some locally it shouldnt hurt.

im working on fructose as a more up to date replacement...ill have some results at some point 2013 about that one, so much to do =/

LOL this is from a fella that uses Ozs to measure his weights:rofl:

A girlie who knows her weed and loves gaming. We are a rare breed my darling
:laughtwo: Thanks hun!
Loving the look of this stock list, and Nina is exceptionally beautiful. I definitely want to try the WOS Mazar/Shark. Almost bought that myself.
Yea, that Nina is gonna be my biggest yielding girl. The Mazar X Shark was a freeby, can't wait to grow out 4 odd freebs which pretty much all have same (ish) flowering time. Only ones I bought were the Custard Creams, the Sensi Star and the Vanilla Kush.
And there was me thinking the "ay" was the Canadian one. Hello, fellow Isle of Dampness resident
:laughtwo: I've an awful habit of saying "ay" at the end of alot of my sentences. It appears to have crept into my typing too. A fellow brit indeed.
Holland & Barrett do it
Ya know, I was gonna mosey on down there on Monday morning. That's exactly where I'll hit up first. Thanks Fluff!
Gotta love that "air guitar" smiley, Fish

I've used between 1tbsp and 2tbsp per litre for this. I find putting a dollop in a pyrex jug, boiling water on top, good stir, cool and you're good to combine that with the rest of your nutey stuff.
Excellent advice, Miss. Nods head. I got it all weighed up now I think!

:laughtwo: You guys crease me up.
Meridian.... ya know Giga I just found that on google images when I looked.

I'm not entirely sure what level of organics I'm on to be fair. :loopy:

Thanks for all the advice guys. I am thrilled to bits with the way my buds look, but ... they DO look a bit wispy, ay? :hmmmm:

well im organic...but for me that just means i got me a bag of organic soil and im not feeding the chemical nutes...at some point ill boil up some of my mud to make a nice thick sauce i can pour into my pots to revitalise the soil.

however, organic soil, innoculants, mycoraizza, propper compost teas and all sorts of funky crap is doable and be called organics.

generally speaking tho, if organic. then its living things in the soil that extract the benefits of the soil much better and give it to the plant in a sybiotic relationship, thats when things like molasses comes into its own. (sugers in whatever form are some of the simplest carbohydrated in existence, and just about everything living uses that for energy.)

i think fructose is better for carbs because thats what the plants are used to and thats what the soil life gets when a plant dies and becomes the next cycle of soil. sucrose is a minority in the plant world.

So my plants look like cotton candy and need molasses??? Correct? Are they what is known as "airy buds" or somethin?

I never meant to insinuate that amelia, in fact, I was seeing how plump they are now, and envisioning how much fatter they're gonna be, wondering if molasses could be partially responsible. You're plants are looking quite spiffy in my opinion, those buds are nice!

I think the newest terminology for this type of organics is called true living organics or T.L.O for short you grow microbes in your soil and they break down the soil and in return the plants get fed exactly what they need. They do a better job at feeding the plants than we could ever do because, well thats just how nature works. yeh you caught me lurkin. If you want some good info on Tlo look at Docbuds prior journals you will learn so much and he has the plants to prove it. His last two journals he has kicked it up a notch and took
T.L.O to another level. Your garden looks great Amelia! Carry on and honey nut cheerios! :peace:

Love this organic way. Been reading and testing soil mixes for a while now. Its the poo from the microbes feeding the plant as well as breaking down the soil.
What do you suggest is the best way to introduce the microbes initially? Are soil improvers and powerzyme / trichoderma the same thing? And are these mollases and carba loads foods for the microbes?

Hope you dont mind me asking this in your journal sense, I was just thinking of adding these to you biobizz all mix.

Thanks for all the complicated but wonderful info Giga! I'm a bit of an airhead but I absorb what wisdom my brain allows me to! Best of luck with your fructose experiments I look forward to hearing how that goes. :)

Aww. I know that Mc. No worries. :Namaste: I just got panicky and paranoid that my buds weren't the best. A silly moment I suppose. Thanks for your lovely compliments, I do appreciate that. But you kick started a debate on the old molasses thing and for that I am grateful! :thumb:

Hey Glittergreen! Thanks for dropping by. I will make sure to take a look at those journals in the morning! Thanks for the heads up.
Your garden looks great Amelia!
:thanks:

Not at all, you go ahead JB! :) It's all good.

Just for fun, here's Lyn, the shortest in height of all 4 plants :laughtwo: That's a five and half foot Christmas tree.

Gotta hit the sack. Knackered now. :smokin: Night folks!

Oh no, Giga please don't word it this way! Now I want to go and create Fluffy 420 Mess Creations in my tiny weeny little two bed terrace kitchen in which there is not enough room to swing a gerbil! :yikes: :thumb:

Fluffy loves you

You said airy in relation to the buds and not fluffy in a derogatory sense. Paw of approval given! :high-five:  :)

:yikes:

And you are worried about your growing skills?! No no no ... your buds (and the whole tangle of planty gorgeousness) are amazing! :yahoo: :cheer:

And I had to repeat the Christmas Tree picture, that gave me a proper big grin for this morning, thank you! :)

I'm loving this ...

FLUFFINESS RULES!
:cheer:

i love fluffy buds. with super dense buds you need to grind and crumble them and all that jazz....with a decent fluffy bud you can just sprinkle in some dryish tobacco and wrap it up in a rizla direct.

over a life time of roling joints, using fluffy buds probably saves me a day of life better used elsewhere

The Fluffy Lab :laughtwo: Get experimantin', girl!

Oh yes!!! Had to be VERY careful about how I picked my words there. :laughtwo: Thanks for your kind words about my plants Fluff. Means alot.

I see your point Giga about it not really mattering either way. Seems I got worried about nothing. I am going to go get me a tin of that shit tomorrow anyway. I have at least 4 weeks remaining and many waterings to go, so it cannot hurt to add it to the arsenal of nutes.
FLUFFINESS RULES!
Yes it does, but candy floss doesn't. :laughtwo: No-no, we don't want that.

Enjoy your Sunday everyone. :peace:

Sense, those plants look amazing, nice for Christmas. I've never tried it, but I heard that old timers would pour coca-cola on their soil. I believe it's the carb sugar transfer that happens, probly feeding the living things in the soil, breaking nutes into plant soluable form for intake. I've had folks tell me not to do it too. My first grow was organic/vegan, second organic and miracle grow nutes, third was organic vegan ( the one I lost to root damage from fungus gnats), and this one all dr. earth organic medical grow. I started using regular molasses on my first outdoor grow and have been using it on everything else. My weed is real smoothe, as I have collapsed a lung from coughing before and I don't wanna do that again. What I would like to do is reproduce that old school columbian and exotic weed we used to smoke before the flood of domestic greens. I was so high at the drive in on colombian with my sis we both thought we were gonna hit our faces on the dashboard......extreme body rushes. I always lived near military air bases when I was younger and found that more exotic weed was available in those locations ( go figure ). I used to see all the shit right when it arrived and was privy to it's actual origin. I saw an 80 lb slab of hash one time with the govt stamp on it from turkey, it was blonde, and when held by one end horizontally, it would slowly bend toward the ground, so we called it bubblegum hash ( you know you gotta call it somethin ). I am an old fucker now and I don't frequent the same circles I used to, my physical freedom is valuable to me ( but not priceless ). Again, lookin good!
