Selective Harvesting

Can Anyone offer any advice about the pros/cons of selectively harvesting buds. We have a small crop (4 plants). Checking all the factors. (resin glands, etc) some buds are perfect others can use a little more time. We are in Victoria.BC, Canada (YEH to us for the new law) growing in an unheated greenhouse.

If you remove 'finished' flowers, she will put all her energy into finishing what remains.
