Seedlings 1st: Black Cherry Punch, Laniakea, Lemon Thai Kush

You are weeks away from the two CD's. Stay the course and keep as is...alternating Drenches with water in between.
And yes , after the CD's have been given , give plain water , followed with the next drink being a GI Drench., then get back to alternating the Drenches , as u are now.
Yup...sounds familiar....another couple weeks yet. Time to prepare.

All looks good....as I got home I was a bit nervous to see the temps at 16.5°C.....but over the next hour it keeps rising.

Looking proper .. :headbanger:...Yup, prolly another two weeks before the two CD's start. Still way too early yet. Dont worry about that slightly chilly temp at 16C..no worriez ok. Keep spraying with Brix every ten days ok.
I was super focused on the recharge and now I am trying to get back on track with anticipating the Cats. I can't wait for grow #3 where I am not cramming info as I go. I learn best doing things....reading helps but when I do something it seems like I got it down after. Things are still going smooth though. The LTK flowers are developing much slower than the pack....scaring me with the total number of weeks until she want to be done. No biggie though....just a little inconvenient. I might be ordering up another one of these Mars TS1000 for the flower room and stuffing the Viparspectra in the tent for my seedling/early veg light. It did a great job starting this batch and is easily dimmable with a built in timer.....doesn't feel right in the flower room though.

I am just stressing the unknown with environment...since I have only been tracking my temps/humidity since last spring. I have no idea what could change and how quickly. Like that little heat wave this summer. I really need to get that extension cord sooner than later and get that 4th light up and running as well as my emergency space heater ready and waiting for when we go below -10. After I make it through to the spring I should know how to handle all 4 seasons and not stress it so much.

Thanks brother

Okie.....here we go. Second journal/grow, but this time straight up Doc Bud's High Brix Blend all the way! I had tons of growing pains in the last run....lots of mistakes, but lots of fun as well. Ended up with some good looking produce, but we are gonna try and take it to the next level with the kit.

So right now we are in #1 nursery pots that will be moved into #10's once we are root bound.

What we got cooking is:

1x Black Cherry Punch - gifted to me from @Duggan

"Black Cherry Punch is an indica, formulated by In House Genetics from a cross between Purple Punch and IHG's own Black Cherry Pie. It is known to deliver full body relaxation along with a dose of euphoric bliss, as one would expect from a potent, indica heavy strain with a 25% THC and 1.3% CBD. Dark green in color and covered with mostly orange pistils and medium sized trichomes, the buds are somewhat airy with a little give to them when they are squeezed.
Black Cherry Punch has a complicated taste profile that begins with earthy, pine-like notes. There are sweet, floral undertones and a lingering aftertaste that can be described as woody, grassy and reminiscent of hay. A cerebral effect takes hold rather quickly, stimulating the mind and sharpening one's concentration. It is also physically relaxing, and as is characteristic of heavier indicas, and the upbeat effects give way and slow down after a little time passes, with the sedative aspects being more pronounced if Black Cherry Punch is smoked later in the day."

2x Laniakea - gifted to me from @Duggan

This one is pretty much a mystery to me.....I have seen some of the journals here that have grown them out, and I am excited to see what happens.

2x Lemon Thai Kush - HSO

"Lemon Thai Kush is a cannabis seed that has fully reliable origins, as it comes from a Haze and a White Widow. Accessible to every grower, this marijuana plant yields huge buds that give off an intense fresh flowery scent. With an average resistance to moisture, it has inherited the resin production rates of White Widow and the complex flavour and aroma of Haze. This marijuana plant ensures a good crop indoors as well as outdoors in a temperate or Mediterranean climate.

Complex and refreshing, the aroma of Lemon Thai Kush reminds of citrus, fresh flowers and cedar. The flavour is rich and intense, with hints of lemon, pine, pepper and exotic woods. The powerful long-lasting effect is slightly more cerebral than physical. A lovely surprise."

4 of 5 have surfaced: BCP, both the Lani, and one of the LTK. I wanted 4 plants and dropped an extra just in case....watch me end up with 5!

They were planted straight into kit soil (Promix HP/Wiggle Worm) that has been cooking since mid May of this year. I followed the method laid out by @Doc Bud in the infamous @Darkscotia apprentice journal.

I got two lights to work with currently
(Viparspectra 300W/Optic 4 3rd Gen COB) and plan on adding another to the mix when we flip and flower. The Optic 4 is the main light for now and the blurple is extra light when needed.

I am starting out in my 3x3 tent until transplanting into the #10's and they will be set free to grow and stretch out in my flower room.

It's gonna be a bit slow growing from seed, but I am gonna try and document the DBHBB process from my perspective. I had a lot of problems reading the leaves and constantly over and under feeding with the last nutrients and soil I was working with.....I am gonna be trying to get into the groove of how these products work as well as try and improve maintaining the environment.

That's all I got for now...pics to follow soon.

Enjoy

Good luck I am interested in the results of the kit

Ya, your LTK will wanna go longer than the Lanny's. That's kinda funny cuz the same thing happened to me when i grew the Lanny's the first time. I had a 'Lilly' sativa that needed another 2 plus weeks longer than the two Lanny's. Lots of time to think about that. One thing , have u been keeping things cleaned up inside and down low, bits of pruning here and there...Good times...:passitleft:..:high-five:

Thanks bud! Things are starting to heat up now.

Yup.....been thinking about that since @neikodog first brought it up. The wheels are turning.

I have been pruning and thinning slowly. I think I have them right where I want them. I have two fans giving some good air circulation as well. One over the top and one coming through the bottoms. The temps/humidity settled at 20°C/50%.....can't ask for better than that I think. Colder temps during lights out could bring some colors out huh?

If you think I should thin out more leaves I can get to that soon enough.

Good pics...nope,..u got them thinned out perfectly ,..good job. They look good bud. No more thinning/pruning needed. :headbanger:
Thought so....my method this time was getting under the canopy and removing most of the fans not getting light. Anything catching light stays and some light selective removal on the inside. Just enough so the leaves aren't overlapping like crazy.

... ;)...:thumb:...cheerz...:high-five:...h00k...:hookah:...

Those plants are looking super nice and everything looks great as Duggs said no further trimming required, :goodjob:
Thanks newb....I am trying to be meticulous with the fine details. Just waiting for the weeks to fly by....not much left to focus on except the timing of the Cat drenches, and maintaining the environment. Then of course doing a better job of drying/curing. My last harvest ended up nice, but there is room for improvement.
