I just mixed in some broken up styrofoam

Every 2 days and the soil is very dry when I do water it

watered yesterday and mixed in the styrofoam and today are looking a bit better

Before you water see how far down the soil is dry. When you water it runs out then you stop watering

Are you worried about the yellowing on the top leaves

Yeh it's dry 2 inch down but top of soil drys out very quickly already dry after 1 day, still moist 2 inches down though

Maybe shallow roots. Could try to water top a little each day just until the roots reach the lower part of the soil. Just a few days

Yeh I'm worried about the new leaves being yellow I'll try watering top a bit every day see if the helps
