Second Grow Ever!

Well I know I needed a controlled environment and soil that wasn’t hot. So I took care of those two things, of course the blue dream disappointed me, but with that being said, I think I nailed the environment , and the soil is now peat pods with the soil outside of the root system. So that’s two changes. I know for next time, use nutes made
For veg state and then use the right ones on the right schedule for flowering.. so I mean I am getting older and my memory fades but I am literally taking notes everyday. Something about a pen and paper allows the information to sink in. Like when I was a kid and had to right something I did wrong 50 times on the board or for homework…. I’m again myself right now…lol

I do not miss writing the same thing one the chalk board 50 time :rofl: bringing back memories of my crazy youth.

Water carefully with drops of water only at the base of the stem. This forces the tap root to grow more if the surrounding soil is dry All that needs to be done right now is get the tap root to the bottom of the container. When roots are coming out the bottom of the solo cup it is time for the final container.

In the final container- water at the base of the plant only, again forcing the tap root down. Pour water quickly so that it rushes through the center and out the bottom. A water column of sorts. When the bottom of the pot is dry then, water the entire container completely. In about 2-3 days the top will start to dry off. Now water lightly only the top of the soil to develop the top roots. Water the top soil again and by now the bottom of the container should start to dry.
When the bottom of the container os dry again water completely for the second time. Repeat the process of watering only the top. When the top and the bottom dry out at about the same time you have developed a complete rooting system.
You may need to repeat this process 3 times. Your plants will drink and feed more often because of this awesome root development. You will grow bigger flowers or veggies or tomatoes using this technique. A bonus of doing this is that you/we can truly begin to understand how the plant is responding to our influences. Plants with healthy roots can withstand tremendous abuses.
Did that make sense? Anyhow, the idea is ROOTS.
 
Good morning! I think I am in the road to a successful second grow at day 15 for the Pineapple Express and blue dream. Day 2 for Girl Scout cookie.
My blue seems as though it is going to make it. Of course it’s off to a slow start but I think she will get there. Timing is everything. With this grow. But I think with the help of everyone, I am golden.

Yeah we still have power, but man it’s not letting up. I think I might wind up with 20-22 inches before it’s over and done.. but everyone is off the road, and staying home so hopefully tomorrow the roads will better becasue it’s nuts out there!

Easily over 20". The only one in my house enjoying is my puppy. He is going crazy over all the snow.

Yep it's time for transplant for her. I do it when they small small. They go straight to half gallon then to 5 gal.
