Scroggin In The Greenhouse Blueberry OG Kush, WW, Scooby Snacks #1

More Harvest

Today I found some bud rot in two of the remaining White Widows. So, instead of loosing more I went ahead and killed them. The triches were milky/cloudy with a tinge of amber. Close enough..lol. Kinda bummed me out a little because they were just starting to show some color.

So, these two lovely ladies....

That's it for the WW's this year...except for a few clones in the corner later this month. Eight more plants to go...3 SS's and 5 BBK's.

Wasn't the song track set for "let the bodies hit the floor"? :bongrip:
They look like nice fat buds, farwell!

You did the right thing dude. Happy you found it early so you won’t lose much.

man it’s weird reading about you heat and humidity issue while I’m up here where it 46f outside right now and I have a heavy flannel on!:passitleft:

High of 81 today. Much drier weather lately. Its 49 here right now at midnight. I'm loving this cooler weather. I'm hoping it will help the ss color up this week.

Holy shot that’s quite a drop off at night! Fuuuuuuuck! :lot-o-toke:

Last I saw the SS was looking damn good but if you desire more color then why not! is the SS a strain that colors with cool nights?

Sorry about the rot, but you should be proud of your accomplishment along with the fact you were looking for it at all times limiting the spread. Well done Jim.
Thank you, I had no idea outdoor growing was such a challenge. Two good things happened this summer. I lost over 15lbs and I gained a lot of know how for outdoor growing. I'll make a few changes for next year but at least now I know I can grow successfully in the humid hot box called a greenhouse...lol.

This little device found at the local dollar store has saved my harvest. I put it inside my greenhouse drying box and it worked great. Just set it and forget it. Kept a nice mildly warm temp in the box all night and by this morning they were dry enough to cut up into popcorn buds for the paper bag. 4-5 days of tossing them in the bag and they will probably be good for jars.

Congratulation on the harvest Jim!! i'm sure you've already smoked some of the first round harvest. Tell us, how was it!!

Thanks PK...So far the blueberry kush has been a nice high. Still smells like hay so the taste n stuff is off.
The first widow may have been picked to early but I couldn't let it rot. Potency isn't really there. I will use it for butter. Hopefully the other two widows drying will be better.

that rain really screwed things up for you. Keep on keeping up the spirit buddy!!
How is that drying method in the box working out? I have a small computer fan that i can put inside a massive box
I figure this would help with the humidity coming out of the plant and the box absorbing it?

No rain in the greenhouse..lol but yeah rainy days it does get humid in there. Yeah man, cardboard is great for drying.

This season has been a fun ride. But what's a fun ride without a few last bumps in the road? During the past months I've dealt with a lot of different issues so why not one more to add to the list..lol
I think what I am seeing here is something called " leaf septoria"

It's a fungus spread via spores and moisture/humidity is a prime factor. Seeing as I only have less than two weeks before the whole crop will be finished. I've opted to try and slow down the spread by removing infected leaf and defoliating more leaf to aid in airflow. Added another fan and I'll use the apple cider vinegar mix to try and slow down the spread of spores. I'll have to treat the plants in the morning so they will not be wet through the cool evenings. Being this close to harvest this shouldn't effect my bud. Had it arrived earlier it could have been a real shit show. None the less I'll try and keep it to a minimum.

Yikes, are we the only two on outdoor team $hit show?
:nerd-with-glasses:we have lost weight, endured the humidity, fought whatever mother nature threw at us, we've learning way more than planned and still willing to fight for the bud! Who says a couple of stoners are unmotivated :passitleft:

Those buds pics look :drool:they look like beauty specimens, kudos jjjr!
