Scrogdawgs 400W RDWC White Widow Fem Scrog Grow

Spent some time this morning and took stock of whats happening in the forest. Need to defoliate a little more but will wait a few more days to do it. There are 51 tops from the two RDWC plants and 4 tops from the soil plant that should produce a decent grade "A" bud. There are at least 20 more lower sites that should make grade "B" and another 50-60 that I'll call popcorn buds between the 3 plants. Its day 16 of flower and everything looks just fine right now. The stretch was a little bit quicker than me and I have a little light burn on the tallest 2 tops from a couple of days ago but they are fine and the burn just added a little character to them. I'm trying to use the top screen to separate the tops for even lighting, seems to be working OK. I'm currently running my PH at 5.8, nutes at 700ppm and EC is 1.4.

I took a poll of the plants this morning and of course they are all predicting a Patriot win today as am I...lol. :cheertwo:

Heres some random day 16 Superbowl pictures.

Did a lot of very heavy defoliating this morning. Cleaned everything up underneath and between the screens and gained control of the forest once again. Man oh man did it need it. I moved many tops around to get closer to the light and moved others to even out the canopy. Probably the last time it will happen in this grow. Once the plants get over the shock we should be good to go for the last 50 days or so of flower. Sure hope they're not to pissed off at me, a lot came out of there today.

Wow, that was a garbage bag full I figure, look at all them branches, holey moley,, each one ending in a bud,, oh my, great stuff indeed

:goodjob:

Good call on the double screen and nice work on the trim! Whatever else you're doing...keep doing it! Great grow! Thanks for sharing it!

wow they look great, how the heck you do a res change with that scrog screen? love how level yours is, mines all over the place, will do better on that next grow, looks great though.

Its a 3 bucket system, with 2 for grow and 1 for a reservoir. Its hard to see the third bucket in this picture but its there in the back. When I built it I put a drain valve on the return side of the system. I have a hose cut to length that I hook to the valve and it runs to a floor drain in my furnace room about 15 feet away. For a reservoir change I just shut the pump off and open the valve. It takes about 5 minutes to completely drain and then just close the valve, fill the reservoir and turn the pump back on. Takes me about 15 minutes to complete the whole cycle.

Did a reservoir change yesterday. I do it pretty consistently every 7 or 8 days. Up'd the nutes some and changed the GH Flora series recipe for early bloom. Also some GH Liquid KoolBloom, Cal/Mag and Z7 in there as well. Except for a little leaf tucking here and there its getting to be more monitoring and less hands on these days which I spose is a good thing.

As always, any comments and critique welcomed, good or bad. Still on a fairly steep learning curve with lot'sa room left to learn.

Heres a few random Saturday pictures.

Hey Scrog. Are you not having flow problems?
That's why I tore my rdwc down. I had flow problems. When I tore it down roots had grown through all the 3/4 inch piping. Literally three feet to the bucket beside it. If I do rebuild I will use two inch on the bottom. Also like to find some bigger buckets. Square trash cans maybe. At least 20 gallons. They make a two inch grommet for the two inch pipe. They call it something else though. Anyways. Looking good roughneck haha.

Not having ant flow problems. Twice I've noticed the water level a little higher in one of the buckets but I just reached into the bottom and pulled the roots back out of the drain line. I do agree with going bigger though.
