Scrogdawg Does 3 Strains Under 800 Watts - Could Be A Trainwreck

59 days into veg. Did a heavy defol and a lot of trampling stuff down this morning so I don't expect to see much growth for the next couple of days while they recoup. The canopy looks like shit right now because of it. I'll be keeping an eye on the ph for a few days, hoping the res change and EC reduction have fixed the problem.

I sure am liking having the two 400 watt lights in the tent, I'm getting great coverage. Despite the temps getting summerish outside the tent has stayed at a constant 72⁰F and the water hasn't budged off of 69⁰F. I guess the exhaust fan is doing its job.

Females rock,, indeed. Karma sent for females dawgy. I have a mastik ready for harvest now,, eighty eight days today, couple more I guess. Another note about em,, they seem to semi regularly throw out nanners late in the flowering, some probably earlier in flower too

I have recently read an arricle on hermies and it stated that sativas naturally do that, sometimes, semi regularly, some nanners sterile, some not

A thing to watch for, for sure. One of the nanners on one of my Mastiks pollinated an OG kush plant, got about six seeds. The biggest dern seeds I have ever seen, got me all giddy sorta. I have one in soil now waiting for a peek at er. Could be I teresting indeed

Cheers for now friend

Lots of tucking and trimming going on trying to keep the Sativas under control until the center of the scrog fills in. Still pretty empty in the middle but its coming.

Sure is a noticeable difference in the development of the hydro plants versus the two soil plants.

Seems that about 1.2-1.3 EC or 660-680 ppm is about the limit for nutes on this grow. Anything more and I start to have some issues with PH drifting down in a hurry.

Its going to be a long veg (Day 60 today) by the time the screens full and about a 12 week flower for the Mastiks but I'm in no rush.

Some Mothers Day pictures.

So the res change to stop the ph from falling didn't do a damn thing, dropped from 5.8 to 5.5 in 3 hours. This afternoon I drained it again and wet vac'ed out the bottom of the buckets and res then refilled with 21 gallons of RO water and added 320 ml of flushing agent. I'll circulate that for 24 hours then drain and vac again, refill with RO water and nutes and we'll see what happens.

Good luck mate. If that don't work WTF you gonna try next?

Scrogdawg did you raise or lower the ppm? Maybe try the opposite? Last resort give them less air? Maybe acid rain effect.

Yes, things were fine when I was feeding at 620 ppm. I raised it to 780 ppm and started having issues a couple days later. I did a change and dropped to 740 ppm with the same results. I was thinking of going back to 650ish ppm's today and will for sure now that I have a second opinion. Thanks man.

How is the growth looking? What is the PPM doing during this drop?

The growth always looked fine. I can't say for sure what the ppm's were doing, I was bailing out 4L pails of water and replacing with straight RO water to get the ppm's down dramatically. I did the res change back to 620 ppm nutes about noon today and so far everything is stable.

If your like I would be, I would have wore out a battery checking my PH pen also.

No batteries but I had to look at least twice a minute all day. lol. Best money I've spent on any grow equipment.
