Did an experiment Today

I up potted one of the Star Pupil to a 3gal from a 1.5gal. It was pretty packed in there. Interesting to see the differences as the go into Bloom

Looking good, Up Potted is a little droopy looking for the Nutes but you can see the Lime Green new growth on top

Small tent day 2 in 12/12

The Small tent girls are looking great also, the seem to love the new light as well. Ill be trimming soon, lots of lower sites blocked by those BIG Indica Leaves

The DDA Big Bud is rocking it, thinking a week or so and these girls will get pulled. I may pull a couple seeds this week to see how they Germinate, and, Probably let them Grow. Ill test the DDA x GDP seeds 1st

So paroosed the DDA plant looking for seeds

The ACDC branches look great but the GDP ones, well, I dont see any seeds:eek:
Kinda Strange. Maybe some deep inside. They are still spitting Hairs at day 74 so they have more Time

I pulled an ACDC seed.... She is soaking Now

Gunna start planning the summer grow
So many of my Strains.
For sure will have some ACDC and GDP crosses
ATF crosses
No repeats this grow
Maybe a Haze and Skunk cross
Blueberry cross??
For sure some autos crossed with photos
And Cannatonic crosses???

Will be interesting. I'll probably do 2 of each I try, hoping just for females.
Still hoping for a DDA x GDP seed, still looks sparse but maybe a few deep inside the big buds

The DDAs will be a crap shoot. Sue has some Devil Carnival, DDA x Carnival, none have showed as Auto yet and many have a fantastic purple and red buds, is my goal for sure

Im hoping for a killer Purple photo but an auto crossed with ACDC would be sweet also

I'll be crossing Star Pupil x ACDC as well as GDP...yes I love purple buds...lol
 
In my research (taken with a grain of salt) I’ve read that because auto flowering genes are recessive if you cross an auto with a photo period plant that the vast majority of the seeds will be photo. Once you start breeding the next generation of seeds with each other the auto flowering genes will start to show. Of course if both parent plants already had the recessive gene then anything is possible in the resulting seeds.

That's basically my understanding as well

I have a few messed up crosses, accidentally pollinated DDA with a few strains, but was the green pheno DDA, so am real excited to try these purple DDA crosses

just noticed garbage cans for pots... smart though cheap buck stores looking good Chris.

I too am looking into summer flower now. The tub was down to 64 last night an is at 72 now. And that's WITH the driver in the space.... those crosses sound crazy. Idk where I would start if I were you?!?

I have Purple Leaves on my Somango becouse of 67deg Nights... You for SURE will have some sweet Purples

The Color on the Star Pupil is Natural, Only Temp Colors I get is same Back Right area of the Tent, its close to the wall so is Cooler for sure

My temp wont be cool for awhile, highs looking at 90deg+ lowes in the 60's, but thats outside, spring is here

I do Love the QB lights @TheMadDabber They are rocking it

Thats generally the time line I see the hairs show up....8-10 days. Doesn't seem to be much different from most hybrid or indicas.....and even my Durban Poison and ATF (both Sativas) are in that same time line.
 
Trimmed the upper canopy of the Star Pupil girls, opened up the center and spread out the outer branches

Well poop
I opened up the tent this morning to look at the three girls in the small tent and I'm like what the f--- freaking Granddaddy Purple is a boy

funny I never even noticed it before and I looked this morning I'm like dang the luck

Bummer was a really good looking plant to oh well such is luck
