Scorpio's Cavalcade Of Horrors With Hempy, Genetics, Perpetual & Much Much More

Now I'm not trying to tell ya how to run your tent but try taking some of that tube you have running to your soakers and make a halo around the plant and put 6) .05/.06 diameter holes in it and see what kind of flow you get out of that. I have to back my pressure down using a 320 gph pump with 4 halos. That's what I use that extra valve in my rez for.
So holes in the soaker hose yer saying?????

No, use the same tubing you have from your multiport valve to the halo and put holes in it. It probably would work the same in the soaker but I use the same tubing and t around the plant.

Perfecto my friend

Much better flow for sure... Easier to judge it

I have little valves on each of my 1/4" hose just off the manifold. Then I can adjust each or turn off any I want

Works good since I have two hempy that don't need as much daily, and a 1 gal and 2 gal coco I can turn down a bit

I'll post pics once I get about 100 1/16" holes drilled.....

Lol

I'm running the same from the manifold and it works great. The little valves help out then your running less plants and choke it down some when running some less drinkers.
I need to get some of those little valves. I just run two tubes to larger plants and one tube to smaller.

Works great, for like now, when I'm testing flow and don't want to water everyone

New dripers drilled and ready

Some nice seeds going on the African girl @Van Stank

Rock and roll baby

Hopefully I can gather some pollen from her, got a bit on a mirror but I'll hit em again today and tomorrow. Killed the fan so that should help

Should get lots of seeds but hopefully a few tips survive

Funny

1050gph pump dosent do much more than a 350ghp pump

So just added more drip hose, shit canned the umbrella misters, and I'll monitor it a few days

Just a wild idea...but maybe a better idea would be to have two smaller pumps supplying different plants. Basically I think what I am trying to say is to cut the coverage of each pump by half and you might see the flow rate pick up.

I know that for my outdoor veggie garden, I have initially intended to have each of the 4 valves cover a specific area. Well I had to change the layout due to shortage of material and that caused me to have to try and run it off 2 valves instead of 4 and the flow rate on each of the drippers was diminished quite a bit. I had the circle 360 degree circle drippers that were covering two plants fine...but when I had to increase the number of plants on the valves instead of running them off the other valve and the flow and coverage dropped drastically.

I think maybe only watering half your plants with one pump and then water the rest with another, might give you more pressure/better coverage. Just a thought! And since you have two pumps, it would be easy to try! Plus you wouldn't have to fill as often!

I'll try and punch some holes...see how it works

Cool....good info Derby

I did something similar........but I used a really small drill bit and drilled the holes so the water would flow out the sides of the tubing and not the top and bottom. Worked well....but sometimes you get a stream that would shoot out the tubing and miss the pot completely.

Thats what I am trying to figure accomplish.....different flows for different size pots. My thought was similar.....if I can get a certain flow rate with one plant in say a 5 gallon pot, all I need to do is double up and run two if I am running a 10 gallon pot

I think the holes in the 1/4 line is the ticket

If I redo my system I may go to 1/2" pipe, more pressure I'd think

But now with two pumps I can do a veg and flower system if needed

Moving forward it will all be DWC or hempy....too much work with Coco for me

Honestly....those stupid bottles I used to have hanging with the soaker hose was my best watering system in terms of coverage and slow flow. I have actually been toying with the idea of using a pump to fill the individual bottles and then let gravity do the work like I used to. It waters at the best rate for absorption and it would allow me to fill the smaller bottle 2-3 times over the course of the 'water day' for a slower and better soil saturation.

I've made ice hash before, love it, still have some

So tried @DrDoob dry ice kief

Works well... Was the c99 x blueberry I was gonna toss out since it hermied and has seeds and in developed seeds

Looks nice...pretty happy with the results

Looks great, a ton better than throwing it out for sure! What size bag did you use? Pressing that into rosin is supposed to be amazing, I’m about 1 minute away from finding out for myself. :roorrip:

:passitleft:
220m bag

After I started I found my 190m...go figure...lol
