Biggest one I have shot was estimated at about 800 lbs. Son of gun was a load. Shot it with a .300 weatherby at about 420 yards. Dropped him in his tracks. Had a hell of a time finding him (shot was across a ridge, just above an old logging road) and even a bigger time cleaning and packing it out. There wasn't a bit of level ground anywhere near us. Then a snow storm hit halfway through the dressing. Fun fun fun.
