My tap is about 240-250 but I keep airstone in the water buckets and after about 36hrs it comes down to 200. So far my plants seem to do pretty good with it and tap makes things a lot easier on me so I go with it.

I'm gonna keep an eye on it

It's usually 300-400, we have had a LOT of rain lately, so I'm sure that's why

I can't imagine it's bad chemical, probably yer basic dirt Bank stuff....lol

If I see issues I'll go to my RO system

Maybe a strainer will help

Wow I thought mine was bad at about 300ppm. That RO unit will probably come in handy.

I'm still hoping the water ppm drops , almost positive its from the 5" of rain in the last few weeks

But for sure will do the 50/50 if it doesn't change

Very strange today

So decided to check the rezz pH and stuffs before I swapped the girl

pH was really high, peeked in...Holly cow more goop than I could believe

Wondering if I bubbled the water to long, probably 10-14 days total. Water was clear when I added nutes 3 days ago.

Or

Maybe the silica didn't disperse enough before I added all the other nutes

Dumped it, mixed RO and tap water
Just added Protec, not gonna do Rhino yet till I know for sure. Let it burble for a half HR ish then I'll add the rest

Gonna run some RO water now just to be sure in case it goops again

So all nutes added, basically 1/4 strength of base Dyna-gro, and full hydroguard and z7, no Rhino or Terpinator yet

My ppm was about 250-260, forgot to check before I added Protec
After everything it was 322....

The original was at 625ish ppm, so it had the 500+ ppm tap water. I figured the ppm of the nutes was at least 200 or so...WRONG O MARY LOU

I'll be watching this batch close..... any goopies and RO WATER IT IS

That tap just had too much crap making up that 550 ppm. Maybe use 25% tap for your make up

I am not a huge 100% RO fan but in your case it might be a good idea until it settles down. So you had hydro guard and z7 when it gooped up?

so I slit the Rooter in half and tucked her in it with tweezers

Water is an issue at my house too. 450 from the well. I went with rain and sometimes mix them. Amnesia haze looks good. I have a bunch of those as freebee's. It'll be fun to watch you grow yours.

So after swapping out the full tap water tub with 60/40 RO/tap, I decided to wait over night to relocate Baby Haze

Good call, goopies all over the hose and airstone

So just did all RO water, added the Protec, and using a small stone while I clean the other big stone

I hope this fixes it. The pH was jumping last night is why I leaned to NOT moving her

Good luck Chris, hope you get everything lined out. May have been to much stuff in tap messing with your protekt when adding causing it to goop up is the only thing I can think of, I’m just guessing though.

How do u add the Pro-tekt???

Protekt always first and yes it does push ph up a lot and foilage pro brings it down, once you get dialed in with your mixture then you can add enough protekt to balance your ph out.
