Scorpio's Cavalcade Of Horrors With Hempy, Genetics, Perpetual & Much Much More

Each plant is a bit different for sure, half the fun of growing

Lol

That is true. The amnesia is a bit fussy from what I have read from different people. I watched Cultivator grow a commercial grow in coco and his plants were amazing. Good luck with her. I look forward to watching this one as well as East Coasts grow. We all have DWC's starting up about the same time.

I enjoy watching and helping for sure, many helped me with DWC, saved me the hassles of hard knocks.

I love DWC now, I'll still use Hempy for my strain testing and pheno testing next grow

Do you have hydroguard and z7 for yer enzymes @SamSmith ???

What nutes are u using

I have Z7. No hydro guard. I could get some tomorrow as I am stopping in the shop to get an adjustable gang valve for my air pump. I know they have it. They carry just about everything except Z7.

Nutrient wise I am using AN 3 part, Grow, Micro, Bloom. I went that route because it was cheap and all my coco additives like Over drive, Big Bud..... etc will work in both coco and DWC. You use so little of the additives I don't want to go buy all new stuff and I don't really like mixing nutrients from different manufacturers. Especially with the perfect PH stuff.

Get the hydroguard, it teams fantastic with z7

I've used the same nutes, you probably heard, max out base nutes at half, maybe a bit more, but that's it

Added stuffs like silica and P additives I go recommend strength

I used the pH perfect in Hempy
Liked it but always struggled getting my pH down since I only used half strength

I'm gonna run this dwc grow with tap water
It's about 7+ pH and a ppm of like 1000...lol..ok ppm is 400 but it's high

Lol

I do exactly the same as you do with the silica and bloom nutes at full strength and the base nutes at no more than half. I also struggle with keeping the PH down with the nutes at half strength but nothing that a little PH down wont cure. I use graduated cylinders and everything else is consistent so it's just a matter of measuring it out and running with it. I check it but it is always very close.

Tap Water...... Here is the deal with that. I have a full blown RODI system running for my salt water aquariums so I have it readily available. I ran it my first grow and started to see weird deficiencies and getting the PH stable was a nightmare with no buffers in the water despite starting with 200ppm of CalMag in it. I switched to agitating tap water to remove the cloramines overnight and have not had any issues since then. I get lectured on tap vs. RODI especially when talking DWC but that has been my coco experience. My tap is 140ppm and 7PH

I got a cheap RO system last year
Works great, but I've heard many say, in hydro, tap works really well so gonna try it on this plant

I never judge my nutes by ppm, just to check fluxuation in my DWC with it. I know by what I add, and the amount, where my levels are, so the ppm of my water shouldn't be an issue really

I'll fill 5gal buckets in my tub, where I filled my buckets with RO water, and let it sit to de chlorinate

And!!!!!

Trying @Terpinator in Veg this grow

Fun fun fun

No crack on my seed yet, hoping by tonight I see progress

Oooo I need water, better fill some buckets before Church of the NFL starts

Ahhh
Little baby

Funny what a couple hrs can do

Thanks @SeedsMan for the freebie

And she has a great tap room this AM, lot bigger than I expected, so I slit the Rooter in half and tucked her in it with tweezers, then I put her in Happy Frog soil, not sure why...lol..was gonna do Hempy, but dirt looked good for a bit more nutes

Lights on, clean, and rocking, let's see that girl show her stuff today

No activity yet

Hope she stretches before my beddy by time

Excited to try the new nutes and the @Terpinator in veg

Oh, and tap water, ya baby!!!

And we have Miss Helmet Head Haze

Bad thing about rooters, no way for her to shake her helmet. I'll wait till she get up fully and assssist her if needed, I'm a good surgeon

Gonna start planning my DWC prep

Differences this grow
Tap water, no RO
Dyna-gro nutes, no GH Trio
Terpinator in veg as well, they say 5-10ml/gal
No exhaust fan in veg

In flower I usually do a 11/13 light run, well @SweetSue did 10/14 and said it was noticabley faster. Since this is a 12 week flower, why not try it

Fun Fun Fun
