Scoots First Real Grow

Hey, there fellow growers! Scoot here! Doing my first legit indoor grow, some Pink Lemonade(hybrid) from 34th Street Seed Co.!

Just started a grow based on Mr.Canucks grow, which I understand is controversial around here. I've got a 3x3 grow in coco, using Gaia Green 4-4-4 all purpose (3tbsp/gallon) , with 10% perlite, and oyster shells, alfalfa and Kelp all at the same ratio. I'm aware my soil might be a bit got, so I'm water in between 6-6.5, but will lower if I see any yellowing etc.

Got my humidity in between 73-75% and my temps around 20-24

I've got a Marshydro TSW2000 at 22”, at 25% power, and I've got one seedling poking through the soil atm!! With 3 more in the next 1-2 days.

Any advice or tips for a first timer?

Sounds like you got a pretty decent light. I bought the same one. It's still boxed, waiting.

Your soil will only be hot depending on the amount of dry amendments you added. When these start to break down there is an exothermic reaction that gives off heat which is bad for the roots.

Nice job getting the journal going. Now ya just need to figure out how to post pics.

Had one germinate in the soil, two others needed a little extra help with the paper towel method. Meanwhile the fourth didn't make it, I've planted a fourth seed that hasn't popped yet

So far so good! One seems to be J-rooted and shorter than the rest, and The Super OG Kush I germinated is really taking off!

Another week of vigorous growth! Starting to get side stems already! Truly blown away
