Scoooter's Green Crack DWC LED First Grow - 2017

Hey Scooter I was just reading about autos with regards to how it can affect a persons ability to run a perpetual harvest with only one tent I never thought of that before.
Is that why you're growing autos? I have been wondering, because autos a couple years ago they were a lot less popular and I'm starting to see more and more people grow them. Do they have a faster run time?

Heres mine. 3rd day of flowering. Waiting to wake my girls up in a half hour. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I'm not a beginner anymore settle down lol.

Auto's Day 43

The stretch is on! Lol.
I'm only watering once a day and the 4 with screens drank almost a gallon before I got runoff. Crazy! The # 5&6 are doing well although I think I stunted #6 with a misplaced Fim. Oh well. We will see how it does.

Cloned tops from my Green Crack. Just repotted. Topped once already. Going to top again in a week or so. The nodes are not staggered which is awesome.

Holy crap man how are u getting actual flowering when I see pictures you posted on the fifth which is 2 days ago doesn't look anywhere near that stage are those two different sets of plants?

Midday report.
So opened the tent right after lights on and got a little freaked that the tops were bright green. After about 10 minutes of research I felt better knowing that means fast new growth when starting flowering. Phew!

Pulled each one out to work on. Thought I'd have to clean the airstone and was worried about the roots but I was happily surprised that the roots look awesome and the stones had 0 buildup or grit in them. Loving Z7!

Took maybe 8-10 leaves off each and it honestly didn't make a dent lol. It should help a little though.

Hey Grow. Sorry I didn't see this post earlier.

So when I was setting up for my tent I looked at this open space I had and said screw it. I'm making 2 rooms. The auto room is 3.5x5. I read a ton about them and the potency is well up there now as well as having fast turn around times. The yields per sq ft should technically be lower but who knows. I've topped them successfully and lst'ed them into their little scrog nets so I'm hoping a good yield.

Plus I am growing them for my moms meds as well so I can try different types in a shorter time. The only thing is they don't like 12/12. I run 20/4 and many run 18/6. Which makes it perfect for vegging as well. .

Dude same here i've been panicking for a couple days can't quite figure it out my new growth specially after flipping to flower but I kind a remember this before but I have been using different nutrients solutions each time so I wasn't sure where do you get this information showing early flower does this? I don't remember coming across this The 16 hours a day for 4 years straight you would think I would have lol.

I just googled it and read some threads.

new growth bright green

So it seems we are doing something right if they grow that fast.

Need Help!

Did one of my autoflowers hermie on me? I'm not sure if these are preflower calyx or pollen sacs on some? Definitely female calyx all over the plant but the other two at this age are already budding. Doing research online it is super rare to hermie an autoflower however I did trim some smaller branches yesterday from underneath the canopy and maybe stressed it? Or am I just worrying for no reason?

Hard to tell from photos for certain, but it looks ok to me. One of the pics looks like it *might* be a ball sack, but honestly I think its just the plant changing its growtg pattern a bit as it goes more into flower. I could be wrong though. The only way you'll know for sure is to just wait it out. Don't stress though, autoflower pollen is hard to come by, you could always use it to polinate a less hermie prone plants and get your own feminised auto seeds for free .

Ok. Just really strange it hasn't thrown pistils on the tops like the others and noticed this all this morning. If there ARE some pollen sacks how soon should I move it to its own space? Yeah the thought of getting pollen and/or seeds from an autoflower is a nice one.

If they are pollen sacks just move it before they open. They will swell up similar to how a mature calyx does, you will see the very tip start to split (its tiny so look closely) that is when he's about to bust a nut all over your tent.

If it does end up with open flowers I personally would just turn off the fans and carefully lift it out the tent. All the faff of putting bags over them etc usually will spread more pollen than just carefully and quickly removing it. (My buddy seeded his entire crop trying to get a bin bag over a male - only time I've seen someone smash up plants in a rage )
