N@ptha - I know, gnarly stuff, but it evaprorates all off (in theory) actually I could really smell it and it was gross until the very last moment... I almost felt like I had blown it because there was so little left and the mixture was still super runny, like the solvent. But once it evaporated off, it became thick and greasy and no longer had that nasty smell.

Yeah, I'll give her at least another week for a turnaround. I hope she's one of those that needs a little TLC, but then again, I tend to abuse my plants so, she may not make the final cut :) I don't really want finniky plants that I have to hover over, I want stuff that will not just survive, but thrive through my neglect, malnutrition, heat, and pH swings, and to be yummy and potent... gee, am I asking too much?

Yes ... nasty. At the very end add about 6-10 drops of water. It takes a little longer for the water to evaporate so the solvent has a chance to fully disperse. I know you have been careful, I just have to say stay safe

dont you need to use alot to get a small amount?

It sure is, I think I was wonky from having it around that day, even though it was outside with the trade winds blowing, I had left some stuff in the sink that I hadn't cleaned yet, and later realized, I smell some weird shit, and then, oh yeah, I gotta clean that up still. Ugh. Nasty ass shit.

Yep, I did that with the water drops, then it sat overnight and goo'ed up to a thicker greasy type stuff than runny.

Girls are doing well. I have been feeding straight water on the veg side to slow them down, and they are not drinking much, and seeming to slow down, whew.

Flowering girls are drinking a ton, whether it is plain water or nutes. I guess it's hotter in there... but the DWC Liberty Haze has TONS of new roots, so I guess it really likes the extra space and water, pH is hanging around 6.1

The breakout drank the entire 2L, I may have to transition her to a larger res.. the one i made for the Liberty Haze was just a hole for a 3.75 net pot, and the 2L top fits right in. Perfect, like it was made in a machine. I may start doing that, veging them in the 2L's, then dropping the 2L top into a DWC to flower. Still no transplant shock as I'm not trying to pull the roots out through any small holes or anything, just plopping the 2L "net pot" into the DWC.

No, no... Not the butane/propane. . . Zippo Fluid... For the metal, wick-type, flip top lighters. Comes in a can with a flip-up spout that pours in a very thin stream when turned over. It's about 99.9% NAPTHA. It's also used in camp stoves, and goes by the name "White Fuel" or "Camp Stove Oil" in sporting goods stores. Smells similar to K1 or Kerosine. But you're right, the smell dissipates when totally evaporated.

To remove all of it, though, I would get a Vacuum Pump and dome, to make sure that all oil impurities are removed as well as you can.

Heh, no problemo fish, grab a board and drop in! The harvest is tasty fo sho'!
The drip was spicy and really potent tasting, the effects were mellow, but after about 4 hours I started to get a little spacey.
The Stacked Kush in the flower tent is hanging on and getting greener, but the buds are sooo tiny for 5 weeks in flower. I'm almost over it.

Um, I know zippos, owned a few myself, just never looked closely at the label on the refill. White gas? super duper flammable and yeah, this stuff smelled bad, not like lighter fuel though..

Now you guys are getting me paranoid... mom is already taking the medicine every night. I feel like I should squeeze it back into a container and try to boil it again or use a vaccu-suck on it or something!

Good thing I didn't boil it then :) It certainly isn't useless. Mom takes it and is almost asleep even 5 hours later (not sure why she's trying to take it so early in the day, but...

Anyway, have been crazy busy at work, off island, blah blah blah, Mom took good care of the girls (although she may have misunderstood my watering directions) and all looks good on my return. The veg side is going ape shit, I'm gonna have to just snip snip chop chop, will start with that damn male g13xhash, oh by the way, the little cutting that I sexed is outside with the Big Bud and NL plants, hopefully spooging all over them. I haven't been at home when it's light yet (damn work), so will check on them tomorrow.

Today is day 12 of 12/12, and I only saw preflowers on the Liberty Haze yesterday. That thing is going to be a problem stretcher, I can tell. I'm glad she has her own light.
