SBG's First Grow Cabinet Under CFLs (Wish Me Luck)

Great grow so far, sorry to see that dude show up to an all girl party.

We both did the 12/12 switch about the same time, and both indoor CFL grow, its a race to the pot-o-gold :winkyface:
 
I think my pot of gold might be a small one. Since it seems I've done nothing but try to kill them with love. The next grow is going to be 2 flowering clones of laughing Buddha that I took from my outside deck plant and try my hand with a Vscrog I just built.
 
Hey SBG got new pics up in my journal. Come by and compare to the last ones and let me know what you think. It seems my 42/6 is working very well I am a pioneer haha take it easy

Well I thought they were all clones from my outside Laughing Buddha but in thoses early days of the Cabinet grow I was not good at keeping up with info on the clones. But it is definitely a different strain by the looks of it. But it's healthy looking. This is for sure the best part, opening the cabinet in the morning to see how they did over night. Some yellowing of the lower leaves but can I assume this is normal?
 
Yeah some yellowing is normal, just keep an eye on it. You don't want to add too much Nitrogen, since the plants don't use much of it in flower. Every strain is different, and the one on the left, and center look pretty much identical, so I'd guess they were the same clones. Especially if light, watering, nutes, etc.. were all identical.

I'd expect the third to show the same characteristics if it was cloned from the same plant, and maybe it is? But from what I know so far it just looks very different.

But bottom line, if they're healthy, that's all that matters. Keep up the great work man.

If you dont want to go search for it though let me know and I will give a brief explanation. It really does help the buds. It gets rid of so much dirt and hair and dead bugs. The ash from the smoke is a nice light grey to indicate a clean smoke and its not nearly as harsh on my lungs. I was apprehensive at first evn though I personally knew people who have done it in the 70's and seen the same person doing it in the 90's then seen people on here trying so I did it and I wont go back to smoking non washed buds again (if they are mine)

Hey Joe if you have the time could you send me a link or explain your washing process, drying process and curing I have mine but want to see if I can improve on it.

Sure its all at the end of my first journal. Link is in my signature. Try after page 110 or so.
 
Basically 3 rubbermaid containers the cool container has lemon juice and peroxide. The hot one has baking soda and the room temp one is just water with nothing added. I submerge one branch per turn for about 30 seconds and gently agitate it back and forth then take it out of the water and let it drip for a bit then go on to the next rubbermaid container do the same thing. At the end I use string to tie the branches to a hanger and let them drip dry for 24 hours and then I put them into a darkened space to allow them to dry as normal.
