Okay quality would be having a HPS instead of a MH for flowering or better still having a good quality LED with light fixed at the ranges plants absorb. All it really meant was someone flowering under a cfl would not get anywhere near the same flowers as someone flowering under a modern LED. Obviously in certain parts of the world the best quality is the Sun.
 
ok here we go , if ive been taught well my a great 420 mate Medfarmer if the picture were my fingers look like they are nipping the plant id say thats where im cutting all 8 arms to give me 16 new tops , or 3rd picture just down from my fingers ,

second side same thing , one arm was bit rough due to spilling some nutes on it but i think ive manage to salvage to new tops.
ive then trimmed all other growing nodes ect large leaves

better late than never , its my first time trying this ,thanks to medfarmer who has showed me the ropes, i am the sort of person who finds it hard to take things in by reading it , when i see how things are down it become very clear so i hope for others like my self this will make mainlining easy for them also :)

Now you have the amount of tops you wanted, you just need to let the tops go vertical now. How high you go is up to you but 6-8 inches is the norm. Try to slow down any that climb too fast by pinning them down at their base or defol at the growing tip so that all tops remain at the same height(a spirit level will be too extreme though :cheesygrinsmiley:).
