Sauga Grows With Virgin Ground

got to see the wynton marsalis band in london. i got the whole good fellas club treatment.

my girlfriend and i were in london - from sweden in an off season whim of a trip. i had picked up a free street paper and saw a couple clubs listed. of course we couldn't get in.

being canadian i had never had to line up for anything. we just don't have the crowds. let alone get denied lol.

anyway we tried a couple and i decided to check my stupid attitude, and tipped the bouncer who was turning us away. then sort of explained what we were after and asked his advice on where to go. so he gave us a tip and we caught the subway.

at the next place when we got to the door the bouncer asked if we had a res and we told him the story. the guy from the previous club had phoned ahead. we were floored. got escorted right to the bar. got drinks in seconds.

the bar manager asked us if we would like to have dinner as well. the place was wall to wall. not a table in sight. standing room only. and we were starved lol.

they pulled a table from the back and cleared a space in front of the stage. then shoved us through the crowd and set us down. breathing room from the band.

they could have served me dog food that night and i would have kissed their feet. i made sure to tip proper, but the thing is it really wasn't what i considered expensive either. they were just really nice. but i had to check the attitude and be humble. was a great lesson.

oh and my gf i was travelling with was in awe. that was a real bonus lol.
Sounds like one of "those" nights. How was Wynton's set?

nuts. he had some older players supporting, and they did some very cool standards that they just built and built on.
it wasn't like the wynton show or anything. some things he wasn't central to at all.

they did two sets. one more of an encore that went way over once they were going.

there was an earlier act and he invited members up which i thought was class.

Used to... pandemic shut it down.

c'mon, you still stream from the basement ... :p

Sounds awesome!

The thing I miss most due to the pandemic is being able to see live music performances. I love a good show! :Rasta:

i have real world job too. can't live a rock fantasy and pay bills.

That would be a stellar day in my garden! Try a slurry test when you have a spare moment, before MrS suggest it. :cheesygrinsmiley:
I'll have to wait a day for her to dry out some. I don't think that's the issue though.
I think it may be heat stress. I had to move the fan that I usually have between the light and the canopy. It got up to 86 in there yesterday as a result. The highest it's been before this was 80° and the plant was further away at the time.
I'll add another clip fan this evening if I can get one running.
I upped her feed because she was looking pale , especially lower on the plant.

Haha, nope! I was going to ask her if she wanted a new formula at 5.5g.

I already have a 5.5 gr formula. You gave it to me for my JS plants a few weeks back.
:green_heart:

She doesn't look any worse at this point. Just watching and waiting.

Hey y'all.
Day #43 since flip.

Still losing 6-12ish leaves every two days. No new burning that I can see. Just old damage.

She's a beauty, VG!
Thanks Daddy.
If I don't screw her up she should give me some decent harvest weights.
Her smell is coming through and damn she's loud.
Smells like someone was whipping donuts or laying asphalt.
