Sauga Grows With Virgin Ground

In all fairness he coulda done me in worse on the ticket, I was in the wrong. And my tires needed changing. Also he didn't give me the maximum. Just wish he hadn't been there to see it happen :rofl:

Instead of walking away mad, I was just grateful.

Hey trouble makers ( MrS/VG) how’s the garden today? :cheesygrinsmiley:

Haha, I took the day off of making trouble. But I do have an update! I lowered my lights and I'm still trying to understand what the Mega light will do to the plants at certain heights. Based on lux the lights need to be lowered, so I've done that. I'm trying to harden them before flipping to flower and it's probably something I should have done a lot sooner but overlooked.
Today they don't seem as perky, and I'm guessing it has to do with the height adjustment of the light. So in a day or two they should have bounced back if in fact that was the case.

:Rasta:

What a nice looking canopy, MrS!

Sorry to hear of the accident Rex, but like you said it was fortunate nobody was hurt. I'm old and due to retire soon too, so I sure hope my wife doesn't accident on me in the near future.
Are you speaking of a rear-end collision?

i would kill to have my little ranger back.

i had the unbadged splash sport pack with the bigger engine. i did a few upgrades and built a limited slip diff for it. it was fun. did some custom head work to unshroud the valves. left mustangs in the dust lol. it had a fiberglass box and hood so was super light. was good for hauling crap around too. no good for the plants tho lol

cops have to assign blame in an accident for insurance purposes. hence the ticket.
That sound's like an awesome vehicle @bluter. I used to mess with cars a bit. My very first vehicle was a 69 VW Super Beetle that was tricked out a little (racing clutch and cam). I could burn rubber in all four gears in that baby! :Rasta:

Bummer Rexer! I'm glad no one was hurt. They had to ticket you huh? Totalled wasn't enough. IDK:thedoubletake:. Hehe, my cars seem to be on the retirement roster all the time. Both are 14 come January. I'd medicate today a little heavier in case you hurt something and don't know it. Yeah, in case.:cheesygrinsmiley:
You survived. :goof:

I've heard that term "harden" a few times but am not sure what it means (at least in the plant-growing context). Can you explain, MrS?

If you take a plant from one extreme to another then you want to harden it to it's new conditions. With lighting you would gradually lower it to allow the plant to adjust, or harden itself to the new intensity. After a couple of days I will lower it again and allow the plant to adjust, or harden itself again. If you don't do it this way then you add lots of stress to the plant.
Another example would be when taking an indoor plant to the outdoors. You gradually harden it by allowing x amount of hours of direct sun per day, usually in the morning or late afternoon hours until it gets adjusted to the suns intensity.

nice ! i love angry little cars. they are my faves by far.

i am building a bmw e30. been a few years getting parts etc.

piles of little upgrades. bottom end is balanced and printed with a rebalanced crank. i have a crank scraper and baffle pan for it.

i'm re-doing the head with beefier rockers and have a 272 regrind cam.

lots of suspension work as well. i built a 3:73 lsd for it. i've built loads of diffs. have 3 just for this car in different ratios lol

i just bought a set of ls mesh ronal rims for it from ireland for my birthday. they stopped making them. got a set from the last ever run.

oh yeah i'm lightening the flywheel a few pounds to the comp specs..

Are you some kind of machinist, Bluter? Sure sounds like it. :Rasta:

Okay. But I'm still a little confused. If you're decreasing the light cycle where is the "new intensity"? Are you talking about what will occur when they stretch up closer to the light?

no. just a motorhead. among other stuff lol.

i built a few little cars over the years. this one is the last one.

edit : if it doesn't have a manual transmission i hate it ... :cheesygrinsmiley:

Wait, wait, let me guess! When you flip to flower you initially leave the lights lowered and then gradually raise them as needed?
