Sauga Grows With Virgin Ground

Nope, that's Sauga Green. Crayola has been trying to match it for years. Those readings are based on PPM levels of the nutes at feeding. Right now they are being fed the equivalent of 4g/gal of MC base. There's certain ratios I shoot for which can be easily spotted in the chart, such as my K:Ca:Mg or the N:S. At some point you want to be at the ideal levels of PPM. In other words I shoot for 200 PPM of K when in flower which dictates my Ca and Mg levels.
lol, i see their the readings but how do you get the percentage for each reading? i take you put your info in excel or something to get the graph. thanks for the explanation though

That’s a great explanation MrS! I hope you don’t mind that I saved the image for future reference when my next group gets into flowering. Ha ha even though you K-cal-Mag ratio is simple enough, I smoke a lot of weed man.
The percentages won't help as much as the PPM levels. When I hit flower I will show the PPM chart instead so you can see the numbers.
Beautiful MrS.
Plants are nice too.

I have to keep reminding myself that my plant is a week or two behind yours due to cold temps and a slow start.
Thanks VG, but yours grew up fast and then slowed again at the topping. They are not that far behind. Mine are very short, and I forgot to mention I snapped the top. The stems are very rigid.

Yes, exactly. I enter the data and have a pie chart display the totals as percentages within excel.

it's probably my english not explaining my question properly. I am wondering what type of test you did to get each of those nutrient levels? :hmmmm:

OK, so there is no real way of me determining what the plant is actually storing. I would need to get a tissue sample of that. Those numbers are assumed that what is going in is what the plant is storing. When I mix my nutes up I know what the PPM levels are of each, so I use those numbers for the basis of the chart.

That's true. I did top.
The center is just taking it's sweet time to fill in. I haven't had much time for training but I'll try to put in some work this evening. It has some nodes in the center that are quite a bit taller and it looks goofy.

So you're a week or two behind day "whatever." :Rasta:

Hey everybody.
It's day whatever and I was supposed to put these up last night, but I fell asleep because my body said I was running it too long without any down time. So I'm nicely refreshed today. The one Kalashnikov is always thirstier than the others. I'm not sure if this has to do with her lack of perkiness so I'm reducing her time between waterings to see how she responds.

Nice greenery, Mr.S and, as usual, great pics! :ciao:

Highya MrS,

Your Kalashnikov looks very healthy! Leaves are perky and very green! Nice job. Must be your attention to the PPMs. Nice colas starting. Did you quadline her? She looks spread out. Happy Smokin'

So were mine. I clip any new fans that are covering bud sites in the center. Those have to go. They want to grow around the leaves to see the light. If you clip them they spend their energy growing straight up. Eventually once the canopy is flat there's no more leaves that need to be clipped. I wouldn't recommend this method with autos if they were quadded.

Thanks GDB! I hope you've been keeping well!

I did quad her Bode, and today I did a bit more training on the ones that were not fighting back. They're pretty much where I want them at for flipping, so any growth now is more bud in the end. :)
:thanks:

I feel like I read somewhere about lifting the pots to determine when to water rather than using a unit of time...

I'm pretty sure the problem that folks are having with your chart is the word "used" in the title. If I'm reading you correctly (like we all did at the beginning of your "Sauga Ends" journal ;) ), this chart is what you are feeding, rather than the plant actually using.

From this:

Simple fix to end the great conundrum we're having with that chart!

lol, you probably did. My dad always said do as I say, not as I do, but to your point I have been. Clarification of things is not one of my strong points. I do weigh the pots, but that one feels like it can weight one more day, like the others, but she doesn't respond the same. So although the wait of the pot may feel fine she seems to like wetter feet!

Something as small as that. :high-five: I'll make the changes for the next one. :Namaste:

Congratulations VG! That was a stellar nug. :high-five: Nicely done!
Thanks MrS.
I should have some sort of update on the Kalashnikov soon.
I had to move her for a few days. Still working out the snags in my grow. My biggest obstacle right now is a dedicated drying space. I hate moving my girls.
