Salt N Pepa: Back Again

I feel so great! I ordered the sample packs (4lbs each) for goeflora nutrients I'll have the light by tomorrow and finally my fabric pots. I am stoked to see a sprout...

My variables being salt n pepa 1 and 2 still nothing...
And then the twins (which honestly could be 2 dif types) they seem to have opened their butts and im hoping to see a root in the next day or so.

Not yet I sent payment Saturday but didn't realize it was a holiday on Sunday. He said he would update me when he receives it and fingers crossed it does by the end of the week... I'm not sure how I feel I don't want my hopes up but I also don't want to think worst case either.

This is a helpful distraction haha
 
So the twins won this round... Already cracked and i see the white root coming out on both... :cheer:

Should i wait before putting them in a peet pallet? Like until the root comes out more or would it be ok if i added them in now?
 
IMO It's actually safer now as you don't risk damaging the delicate taproot.
You'd be surprised how fast the root grows too. You can spot a tiny taproot in the morning and come back later to see it's almost an inch long!
Once germinated the plant is on autopilot and doesn't need any outside assistance
other than availability of a little moisture. It even has enough food stored inside to last until it pushes out enough leaves to photosynthesize.
(hence why sprouted seeds/micro-greens, etc. are considered "super foods")
 
Welp if anything I'm to impulsive and act before I probably should... I stuck them in the peet pallet and have them with the othere. Here are some pics please tell me if its ok or what i should change lol i want to at least give them a fighting chance.

I dont know if direct light right now is good so i have it shaded. Im using the light as heat... Its 65° here today kinda chilly for me... I love people here their in shorts going swimming and im in long sweats and a long sleeve shirt hahaha

Maybe its just me and lord as a red head this is such a blonde moment for me but is it good that i have the top covering the pallets... Lol i just keep hearing them cry at me for air... But I'm losing it right? Thats whats supposed to happen....

Congratulations on the seedlings!!!

Enclosing them is fine, and pretty common for seedlings and clones (if you look up propagation kits you'll see what I mean). You might want to remove the lid now and then to let some fresh air in. That cover does let in a bit of light right? Not completely opaque?

Yes its just not directly on it but light does get through.. Wait until the spouts come up before direct light right?

If the lid is transparent and lets in enough light, you can even leave it on after the seedlings have broken ground, especially if it's cold and/or dry where you are. Leaving it on will help preserve humidity and warmth for your seedlings.

HOWEVER: you do have to remove the lid a few times a day just to make sure it doesn't get too humid in there. Too humid and you risk mold, damping off etc. Read more about it here.

If you want, you can get a cheap little thermometer/hygrometer to leave inside so you can monitor the conditions. They are usually about a couple of bucks apiece. Something like this.

...I'm still drying out from our evening swim...but then again the pool's 93° and feels like a giant bathtub

I'm a fan of seeds, or water sprouted seeds direct into soil.
First sign of roots, or seed crack, plant it
 
Omg just got a kick in the lady bits and im sure learned the most valuable lesson people are just mean and horrible. So i sent payment for those 6 seeds it made it all the way out there and i just got a message that said he rejected my offer and so im sure that means a no go for me....

Ugh why can't people just be like me... Like i would take feed and cloth a stranger if he needed help. You try to put out good vibes but now I just dont know if I'll ever be able to get something cool like that...

Plenty of seed banks for you to get them from! Or perhaps I missed some part of this story

Yes i have hit just about every brick wall when it has come to get seeds. I am trying to get this cash app set uo so i can buy bitcoin but everytime i want to use a card i cant because i live in the wrong country... I'm at this point its 100% me lol blind people probably have this shit figured out better then I do. It was through strainly. Not so much auction just breeders have the opportunity to reject an offer but it just makes no sense i even ordered and sent more then what he asked... He had great reviews so i thought what the hell give it a whirl.. I knew this was a chance and the guys have all told me its a gamble I just had faith it would finally work out.
I did enter the drawing for some seeds but again I'm not very lucky when it comes to getting seeds.

Well, at least you and I have our bagseed to grow with for now.
 
Whew... He responded and said thats just an automated message after 7 days... He was super nice worked with me when literally all payments wouldnt work. He said he set mine aside and i will get them... I was legit sad hahaha dammit what have these seeds done to me..

Oooo New Zealand!! How has it been over there during this. Our news says that you guys handled the rona great but who knows with the news lately... Ugh i bet its so pretty there one day I wanna travel out that way
 
I had the same thing happen to me! A week after sending a dude money i recieved that rejection message and was PISSED.
I filed a complaint with the site and everything. Apparently they're supposed to login and check an accept button or something. Same thing, the guy was cool about it and my seeds came a few days later.
