Alrighty, Alrighty! :high-five:

Finally, I have all the Goodies together. The Yum Yum finally arrived this afternoon & I will be putting the Veg mix together on Saturday and let it cook for 3 weeks.

Marilyn is doing great, she loves the window sill and only goes under a CFL for about 4 hours. She isn't stretching as the original "Beast of the East" did. My Co-possum is under lock down when she is under the CFL.

I have a buddy, who is going to assist me on this project, he has over 20 years of growing experience outdoors, so I'll have a great advantage keeping Marilyn from falling to pests and predators during the 4 month Veg. He don't know how to make nip though, so I'll have to watch my mason jars! :cheesygrinsmiley:

The cameras are already up & the site is being monitored for any type of activity. Just in case, I have picked out a backup location, which is just as good, if not nicer, than the current spot. Always good to plan in advance just in case the 2 cameras pick up something that Ole Sabo doesn't like. Always remember, if you do use cameras, make sure that you never walk in front of them when going to the grow site. If the "Revenuers" would find my cameras by chance, it wouldn't be to cool to see "Ole Sabo's" smiling face in the purdy pictures in front of a judge! :thedoubletake:

Have a nice long nip out of that mason jar lying over there yonder & "Keep it Green & Growing Strong"!

:Namaste:

Hey SABO, have you sampled the Northern Lights/Skunk yet? Just curious because I have the same strain going. I have no doubt that I've had it before--just where I live, strain names weren't widely known until about 5 years ago. I'm sure the individual growers had a clue, just not us uninformed consumers.

7...out of 10? If so, that's kinda disappointing. I'm maybe 5 weeks from sampling mine. I'd really like to be growing the 9/10, 10/10 strains, but who wouldn't? I have a feeling that I may enjoy this one. I can almost picture it...going to make me feel like a high-schooler, take me back in time. Hopefully.

That is a gorgeous plant you have in the contest!!! :bravo:

Yeah Josh, but they still have a week before harvest & they are really loading up on Trichs right now. We'll see. Thanks for the compliment on the "Runt". Am going to take another sample on Sunday, I think it might get better.

I spoke with PeeJay about the Darkstar & he said "If you do it right, it will most certainly ruin your day"! :high-five:

Love your entry also, that would make me happy :tokin: for a couple of years!

I consider 7 a good rating as 9's and 10's are reserved for some of the best weed I've ever smoked in my 35 plus years as a pothead Josh.

Thanks B A R.

I was just being fair about the 7 rating, it's SKNL & only picked the strain, because it's basically fool proof and Ole Sabo just couldn't mess it up if he tried to. We'll know shortly if the rating goes up a little, but I don't think so though, I tried to pull as much as I could out of the SKNLs with my limited Grow experience.

I leave the 8's, 9's & 10's for the great and really great stuff that I smoked over the years.

From the samples I took, it's a pretty smooth smoke for my 1st grow. I think it will serve it's purpose quite well. The body numb is outstanding, great for back pain.

:Namaste:

Hi CareStaker,

I have 2 journals going, this is the new one. The other where I am getting ready to harvest is under the Sabo's First Grow link in my Sig.

If you see anything that you like here, you're more than :welcome: here!

:Namaste:
