Bodega packs don't reduce smell or turps in bud.
I didn't use them on my first grow, but I checked the jars religiously to make sure they were where I wanted them. I tended to use the grinder test the first grow, and I found that worked really well for me. The grinder doesn't lie. It's VERY easy to tell when you grind up a bud whether it has too much moisture in it or what. When a bud in a grinder grinds up properly, not too damp, not too dry, where it's the perfect moisture level for falling through the holes in the top of the grinder and not getting stuck on the tines, when it's just where you want it coming out of the grinder to roll a fatty, when it leaves kief on the screen but the bud doesn't just disintegrate into a bunch of dusty, kiefy, too dry shit - etc - when my weed is that way that's where I want it to stay. At that point, I checked it in the jars religiously again for a few more days just to make sure the buds were going to stay stable at that moisture level, ie, they were finished and ready to stay in the jar without burping it often and without having to check them all the time. That's what I did my first grow and it worked out well. For what it's worth.
Wow. Nice looking nugs. Frosty. They look reasonably dense too, yes? Betcha they smell GOOD......Nipped a couple of bottom nugs the other day. Trimmed up a bit. they Smell fantastic.
Are you finding your buds dry more quickly if you trim them like in the pictures versus leaving some sugar leaf on?Nipped a couple of bottom nugs the other day. Trimmed up a bit. they Smell fantastic.
The more matter you leave the more moisture they have available to pull from. Are you finding your buds dry more quickly if you trim them like in the pictures versus leaving some sugar leaf on?
Right! That's why I leave them on. I want every bit of sugar they have to offer and I want the dry to take as long as possible. The more matter you leave the more moisture they have available to pull from.
Longer it'll take to dry.

Hey mate, thanks for getting back. Defo. I’ll be leaving the foliage on when it comes to the chop. They where nipped as a cheeky testerAre you finding your buds dry more quickly if you trim them like in the pictures versus leaving some sugar leaf on?
Gotcha. Did you test smoke it yet? How is it? What's your preference in terms of when you harvest? Are you a coke-weed guy like me who does all milky, hardly any amber? Or are you a couch lock guy who likes the 25% amber or more before the chop? Lots of pain management folks like the couch lock/amber thing. Personally, hardly any weed couch locks me - I just don't respond to it quite like that - but some lean that way more than others for sure, primarily based on their degree of indica vs. sativa I *think.*Hey mate, thanks for getting back. Thanks man
Feed every day. Don't water her water away from her. In a circle around her 2" or so. As she gets bigger move circle out till you fill that pot.Day 16 diesel 1
She hasn’t got her happy face on at the min. Bit droopy an lighter couloured.
Couple of things that I may of done.
Firstly: I started feeding what I thought to be half strength bio vega. I’m so used to putting 4 ml a ltr in using the flowering products, I’ve carried on using those calculations when it comes to feed. So.. I’ve put in 2ml/ltr of vega and that’s the full recommended dose, not 1/2.
I’ve only fed her once so far with the vega since the switch from CStart
Diesel 2
She’s looking a little bit perkier than 1, but still a little light coloured. She’s in @Bill284 ‘s bokashi, frass an coir mix( close ish) and an air pot. Diesel 1 is in a cloth pot.
Diesel 3
Now this girls got a right sad on.
She’s yet to experience any vega, so the problem, if it’s something I’ve done ? May not be the feed.
She had cStart up until yesterday, when I gave her phd water.
The second thing that may of affected them, that I done myself.(not a clue.)
Was to leave the light off for more than 12 hrs.
Got a new timer, set it to give them their first taste of darkness, an you know the rest.. numpty trick.
Any direction, advise or wisdom would be really appreciated as ever
Peace an buds to y’all

Hey quick question on your defo methodology if you don't mind - My thought is that by harvest time, the buds themselves are basically going to be almost completely bare of fan leaves down to where the bud stops, and the leaves that are left in the canopy should be all I need at that point. That's going to leave the buds getting maximum light for the last two weeks when the magic really happens. At least that's my understanding of the kind of defo I want to do and what I *think* you are doing. Is that the case? Is that kind of how you do/understand it? Can you hip me a little bit please?
Thanking you kindly sir.Feed every day. Don't water her water away from her. In a circle around her 2" or so. As she gets bigger move circle out till you fill that pot.
Calmag in first to you nutrient mix. Mix it at full strength. Then just take what you need and water it down to 200 ppm feed them that increase ppm as they get bigger. Till flower at about 400-600 ppm.
