Been using green planet Rezin as well
Bought in Some of that big bud after reading in one of your threads about it. but only says to use it in the first 4 wk of flowering. I’d missed that boat by the time it was here.

That's not as bad as my gelato mom her pot is upside down.
Every time I water her it pours out and pisses me off. At least its not inside out.:rofl:

I use big bud coco. From week 2 right to harvest. I used to use Massive but switched and find it quite good. But I would have to do a run without anything to confirm it works for sure. Do you have a potassium silicate product?
 
Hey budlove! things are still looking good in here. Somehow your journal entries got lost in my notifications, I must have missed one and they dont show up again til I come look lol. I need to pay closer attention, had a few pages to catch up on here.

What light panel did you get? Did I miss that as well somewhere? I seen the picture of it in your hallway lol.

The flowering plants are looking great, you say you're feeding them at 1800ppm, holy crap lol Yeah I'd bring it back down some before the end of the plants life for sure, and like bill said, you could back off the nitrogen as well. Might as well save on a bit of nutrients by cutting back the strength over the last couple weeks, you can keep using all the same products you have been. Those canna nutrients aren't cheap if I remember right, or the local hydro store at the time was a ripoff lol.

So you have decided on flushing? if you're going to, start by cutting back the nutrients over a couple of feeds, then in the last week just give plain ph'd water. I'd imagine you're feeding at least 3 times a week in that coir mix?

Both of these critical are in upside down :)
Its a t**t trying real hard to get everything right, then noticing you’ve dropped a bollock at schoolboy level.:)

I’m gonna check the run off later after a flush, see what going on an what I’ve been doing. It could be that the fektard in me was talking about ec and not ppm..
I’ll check the run off an make sure there’s nothing crazy going on before I mix my next nuts up to have a check.
I got told off for asking if the light panel I got was any good. As it’s not a sponsor

I was looking at the light on your post, would of got one but the duty $500 or so extra.Thought better to put it towards a light.
I’ve got a bunch of nuts here.. got a load of Dutch pro to start with.. I remember canna and aforementioned 20yrs plus ago over in Holland . My thinking was, if they’re stil in the market, they must be good.?
after getting my toes wet reading 420 posts. I bought a load of geo flora tri part. After a grow or so I went back to canna.. less hassle and seems to do a good job.
Interested in all of em mate. If they do what they say on the tin.??the sponsors nuts you tagged , I Can’t get those nuts here either, if y can it’s a heavy duty to pay.
Not much cheap nowadays matey everything similarly priced it seems.
Been feeding them every other day, at the beginning I was only feeding every other watering.

Don’t know why ! But for some reason.. I don’t like the thought of using silica.

I made a step by step of how to assemble and fill them, and I still fek it up.
Just out of curiosity what water are you using?

Tap water herd comes in at 8.5 ph.. about 140 ppm.
I also get in kingshill 15 ltr.. that comes in at the right ph usually.. 5.7 to 6.2. Ppm 49.
I use it when just watering and flushing. Not cheap though.. won’t be using it when I’ve got 10 x 7 gal pots on. Maybe just at the end.
 
I wouldn't think you were talking about EC if you were using the number 1800 though. That sounds like ppm. Unless you meant an EC of 1.8 which would then be about 900ppm.

A member told you off for asking about a non sponsored light? Or a moderator? As far as I remember we can still talk about other companies products but can't be outright advertising them, I'd have to recheck the guidelines. I've mentioned the names of non sponsored products in my grow room, we can't get everything we need from just the sponsors unfortunately, especially in certain countries.
I'm only asking what the light is for reference to your grow, I can go Google it after for that matter lol

Yeah as far as nutrients go sometimes we always go back to what we know. So.etimes we switch and love another product. Canna has been around for a great deal of time. You're right though, none of its cheap. Again, especially for certain countries.

I've used silica supplements in synthetic nutes, gh flora trio. Good for the hardiness of a plant. Build good stalks and strong stems.

It was taken down straight away as they said it could be advertising for somebody else other than the sponsors.
As your asking I got the gavita 1700 I the end. It’s hard to get through all the bs when your looking. Had a bit of cash spare so wanted a good’n. Got the el 2 controller with it. Been waiting for ec fans to turn up before I switch it all up.

Yeah that's odd, I don't see a decimal. If it's measuring ec then there should be, otherwise with 4 digits and no decimal, it's reading in ppm for some reason. Not a hard conversion either way.

Oh, I guess I could see it where it was a separate post about a specific light. But I don't think there's any harm in showing people what your using within your grow journal. I showed an off brand blurple light in a Journal before and talked about it when I got it, no issues. Just don't make it look like advertisements.
Otherwise they are a good light from what I know, I took a look at them when I realized they starting making them. I'm sure it will be a game changer for ya.

Hey buddy.. I’m using a advanced platinum 1200 at the min.. went for it after reading myself stupid lookin at reviews.. seemed to come up tops.. so I thought f*** it, an got one to replace the hps x 2 400 on, nightmare keeping the heat down with the hps.
Anyway.. I’ve been happy with the light so far, but scorchy in the middle even at 1m away from canopy. Prob is the fans(x 8) needed something quieter without the drop in quality.
Think I’ve said before .. it was sold as an American made item. But was shipped from Hong Kong to US to Germany then here??
Stung me £250 for shipping.

Indeed, it is what I thought you meant. I haven’t then.:)
 
I've always been able to manage heat since I set up the grow room with a furnace blower fan as an exhaust. It can get warmer in there in the winter @ -30c from our furnace running than it does in the dead of summer @ 35c. I'm growing in the basement. I've really managed to get my heat down by using air cooled hoods as well vented to the main exhaust.

But I get it too, running a cooler light cuts down on other costs of making the room cooler. Leds run less watts normally as well with exceptional output. I don't blame you in the least for making the upgrade, I'm trying to get myself there as well. Slowly but surely my friend!

Thanks buddy.. I’m in a hurry( ish) to grow some fine erb..on a bit of a health time limit. ( little violin) And I believe light is the key to better bud.. so again I thought f*** it an bought a good’n hopefully.all the vitamins an love you can give em aswell of course.
