RQS Critical x2: Photos In Veg 90 Days, Just Flipped

I’ve ordered myself 5 of those gsc seeds (weed seed express)
Gonna be a while before they go on.. by the time I’m ready to get started with them there’s going to be plenty of top notch info about to peruse.
Be like having a GSC bible.
be foolish not to:)
Sherlock what happened?
Did you solve the mystery.

Couple more dodgy pics before bed.

Not to sure what ya did to the first one but the 2nd one looks great  Regardless I see 2 big ass frosty classic, looks sweet!

Looking great for about half way there, them colas are getting fat already.

Are you noticing any difference with the co2 exhale bags? Or have you used them in other grows as well? I had thought about picking a couple up and putting my exhaust on a timer maybe, or turned all the way down so it doesn't remove it all right away.

The whole CO2 discussion is a unique for most of us; every person will have different exchange rates of air in and out of your grow area let alone different base levels of CO2 so each environment will be different.

With that said, I have used many products before I came to the conclusion that you are either going to provide CO2 or not so don't waste your time with chemical or biological shortcuts. In the end, it comes down to two primary options; propane generators or a CO2 tank. Both will set you back some cash (approx $500) by the time you add a controller. I have read some good debates on total costs for both solutions but ultimately it will come down to a couple of factors; heat and re-supply convenience. Is it easier for you to refill CO2 bottles or propane? Can you tap into a natural gas line? Personally, refilling CO2 is difficult in my small town and i didn't want to deal with certifying tanks, etc... so propane was attractive to me but I needed to do all I could to eliminate heat since I was working with a small area. I finally went with a liquid cooled propane generator because it let me move the heat to another room if I wanted. This actually helped me in some cases when it got cold so I liked the flexibility.

Anyway, I went down the rabbit hole on this one and ultimately believe most people should start with a good meter so you have accurate readings for your environment. I recommend a good quality data logger for all your basic metrics; makes Journaling easier, gives you more confidence about your environment and lets you set alarms/ notifications. Once I did that and could actually see real data I realized I needed a real solution and threw the bags and other snake oil solutions (folic acid/sodium bicarbonate or sugar/yeast buckets) away. I had a small area and imagine it only gets tougher with larger volumes so my advice is either commit fully or don't bother until all your other parameters are perfect.

Good morning,
Hope the worlds spinning the right way for ya
It’s another bright spring day in the North .

@Bill284 ,@dick23rk
Been reading ( the word reading ,always makes me think of Bill Hicks back in the 80’s ) ‘what you reading for’ ? Says the waitress.. blah, blah.)
I must of been real impressionable back then for it to stick so fast.:)
Anyway.. god damn fungus gnats!
I’ve posted before about the little beggars, and followed the kind advise given..which was .. get loads of sticky traps and get a fan blowing over the top.. let things dry out a bit before watering.
Well.. it’s gone from a few gnats to what can only be described as an feckin infestation.
I’m guessing you guys are busy, so is it best I put prob questions on the right forum?
Apparently the gnats lay 200 or so eggs each which I think gives an R rating of off the f***** charts.
What I was thinking about was.. Do the gnats only lay in the top 2 inch’s of the medium? Or will they lay at any point that they can access the root system? If it’s the latter, I’m thinking the air pots are helping the population explosion out big time.
I’m assuming like any other critter like this, that the hatches will come in waves. ( no clue)
I’m still thinking about a h2o2 light flush, see if I can get rid of some of those grubs.
What y’all recon ?
Looking for a fix ASAP please, if there is such a thing. Horrible little things are making me feel all dirty inside. :)
Any wise words or direction always appreciated.
Peace an bud

Hey bud love have you tried hydrogen peroxide on the little buggers.
Mix 4/1 with water and spray it on the soil. It'll bubble a bit and killem for ya.

Thanks for your time @Ivumlow appreciated .
Should save me a few quid. Bags an canisters Just an expensive rip off then?
I don’t fancy messing around with co2, prob end up doing myself a mischief.
Thanks for taking the time to share that info
Peace an bud
No problem, my real suggestion is to start with a CO2 meter (you can get an inexpensive controller/meter for somewhere around $250). Then you can make your own determination. I couldn't even move the needle on my logger even with 2 XL exhale bags and the sugar/yeast bucket in a small 3x3 but I got a work call one day while in the grow room and 1 hr of me talking spiked my CO2 levels.

Once you have a meter, try lighting a small propane device (bunson burner, or small camping grill or heater) in your room for even a short while and will see a huge boost in CO2.

I recommend a product by Ubibot called the GS1-AETH1RS. It is a complete data logger that has an optional CO2 sensor. It is relatively inexpensive for all the features you get and will provide you with everything you need to know about your grow room conditions. My grow journal also has the CO2 controller I picked up which ran around $250.

One other thing I forgot to mention is that any propane solution will also produce water vapor so factor that into your calculations. Some people may need extra humidity whereas a propane solution can be helpful but you could also find yourself on the other side of that whereas you are constantly fighting to keep humidity levels down so a CO2 bottle will be better...

Not much to say on the new beans..got one lady giving it her best. There still looks like something goin on in the cubes with the other 2. We’ll see.(always hopeful)

@lvumlow
Thank you very much for the very informative post. Brill mate.
I’ve got those jet boil camping stoves knocking about up here with me. I like a brew while pottering with the ladies.
So... what I think your saying is..I’d of been better off making my brews in my grow tent, as opposed to paying out for the co2 enhancers? Wtf :)
Peace an love

God damn, that’s a poor show, 25% survival rate. I sentenced myself to 2 days hard labour for my negligence:(

She’s a G13 lab creation and her name is Diesel
Moved into a 7 gal cloth pot today
