RQS Creamatic, Sundae Driver And Epsilon In Coco

Today we see a jump in growth. If this continues I will be one happy fellow. I think the girls are happy too, which I guess is what I’m happy about. Happy = Happy 😃

Onto the info then pictures. I’ve watered since last update and I have rotated the light 90 degrees. Trying to get the vpd in check I’ve got a window slightly open to provide cooler air so it doesn’t have to be as humid. It’s anywhere from 78f - 83f with a rh of 70% (when it’s all working). Now for the pictures.

Here the full tent. I plan to flower one of them in another tent.

El Diablo is in there and will hopefully pop up in the next day or two. And I will transplant it into its own small container until it is decided whether it loves and the epsilon goes or the other way around.

Bill, I appreciate your help but I’m afraid I don’t quite understand. Do you mean never give the coco medium plain water? As in only give water with fertilizer or cap mag but never plain? I’m using a fertilizer that I added into the coco and I won’t be adding any more fertilizer again for over a month. I had the option of top feeding or amending into the soil. I decided to add it into the soil allowing me to only need to water and not add anything else during that time (6 weeks). By then the plants will be in flower and I will top dress the bloom fertilizer.

I’m new with this stuff and I could have it wrong but that’s the way I understand it at the moment. I really appreciate all your help and all the help in general here.

Here’s the back of the label informing uses. I did the first one for a water only veg cycle.

What is the name of that fertilizer?
I'll check it out before I say anything. :Namaste:

It’s greengro pridelands veg.

It’s greengro pridelands veg.

It's hard to get any sort of answer from their website.
I scanned the qr code box and it brought me to the same site.
I've used dry amendments in coco before but always supplemented with liquid nutrients.
Ok all that being said it doesn't help here.
From what I read you could use a product like sweet candy once a week for feed the microbes.
The microbes feed the roots.
Keeping them healthy keeps the girls healthy.
Otherwise I read growers use a tea to supplement them.
Ok so for now put calmag in your feed water first then set ph to 5.8.
Then feed slowly until you see a little come out the bottom.
Do this on a daily basis.
Do they have a kelp product? Greengro-pridelands?
If so get it or buy one to add to your feed water after calmag.
There are a lot to choose from I use @Greenleaf Nutrients sea-k great stuff.
Inexpensive and very beneficial.
See how they react and how the color is.
If everything goes well than great.
If not we may need to adjust things.
But for now carry on with water only.
Obviously with calmag at 5.8.
Looks like a great nutrient. :thumb:

Ok I do have some kelp as foliar spray and cal mag. Looks like I’m on track so far. I used mega crop some last grow but didn’t have enough for these plants so I got something else just to try it. Shipping on the mega crop was like 2 - 3 weeks but I found the pride lands locally. I think mega crop is made by the same company that makes the kelp you use. The mega crop was really good I wish I could have gotten it sooner and I would have used it instead. I really like the idea of amending something into the soil and then only having to worry about watering for the most part. But I’m not opposed to a great grow if it means feeding daily with water too.

They look like good nutrients.
Let's see how it goes for now.
You can always add something if we see any issues.

Epsilon still lagging but doing ok after all.

IMG_0998.jpeg

Sundae driver. Looks very happy.

IMG_0997.jpeg

The Royal Creamatic. My baby! This is what I really wanted to do well and I think she is. I can’t tell but she’s either got 9 or 11 fingers on the newest leafs. The leafs previous had 9. She is standing at 11 inches up from 9 five days ago. She is also at 11 inches at the widest, up from 9 inches five days ago as well.

All these nines and elevens must be a good sign of something. Right? Or a sign of NOTHING 😂

Side angle creamatic.

Side angle sundae, it appears the sundae has better growth in the secondary branches. But the creamatic is an inch or so bigger all around.

Epsilon also has secondary branches that are doing well and if you look closely here you might think it’s in pre flower. I hope not but at least if it is I have the el diablo coming up right behind it.

Epsilon flower!?

El Diablo

And this concludes today’s journal update. Thanks for taking a look! Any feedback is critical.

Two songs for todays entry.

As you may notice right off is that I’ve taken the leaves from the epsilon. I would never normally do this but it’s just so small and started to flower so I wanted the bud sites to get some light right away. I think it’s funny looking and I’m half hoping it dies so I have room for the Diablo instead.

IMG_1021.jpeg

The sundae driver starting to exhibit signs. Very small and I thought young too. But I guess it’s past three weeks now. Hopefully it’ll fill out a lot.

IMG_1022.jpeg

The creamatic. Still just pure veg without any signs she is at maturity to begin flower. Hopefully she holds off a week or two pre before she starts.
IMG_1020.jpeg

I’m anxious to see how the epsilon reacts. And I’ve put three more seeds in moist paper towel. Anticipating these gaps finishing up sooner than I originally expected. Poor epsilon.

I think growing has a hold on me.

Today we have a close up of sundae driver and a new gadget to take leaf temp and vpd. Not two of my four humidity sensors say the same thing or three thermometers. The thermometers are close enough though.

Here we are first up the epsilon and Diablo. The epsilon will likely be pulled later today. I just don’t like it. Maybe if I let it go the whole thing will be one huge juicy bud…. But I ain’t gonna wait to see.
IMG_1031.jpeg

We’ve got the Diablo there that wants an uppot and three bubba brunch that have tails in paper towels. So it’s just not looking big enough to keep.

The other two girls are great and the creamatic finally is still not showing signs of flowering. Which I like, I want her to get bigger first. The sundae driver first and then the creamatic.

Hope you enjoy the updates. They don’t have a lot of info lately but the pictures are there 😃

New gadget:

Today we see some nice size on the ladies. The two at least. The Diablo doesn’t seem to be that quick but it may be too soon yet I’m not sure. The three new bubba brunch has poked through the soil and look ok. The epsilon….. I brought I downstate two days and then decided to keep it. I feel like it’s doubled in size since it was in the relative dark. Probably not but it seems much bigger now. Any how all is well in the garden and the sundae driver is definitely doing her thing. All the plants are in the tent together aside from the epsilon who is sitting outside of it but still getting some light, not enough.

Feels like I only updated yesterday but….. Today we have a comparative. Sunday vs today. I have points of interest circled in red.

Sunday. The branch is there and a new leaf is there coming.
IMG_1062.jpeg

Today the branch is much better looking and I took the leaves that were circled in the last photo as they were massive and the light to hit lower.

IMG_1061.jpeg

Also they are touching each other now and were inches apart Sunday.

For those who do, things may get trippy around here. I don’t have a mushroom journal going but there still may be a grow afoot. And things might be looking hopeful there.

Plants are looking in great shape/colour, very promising
As for the mushies - here you can walk round any hillside cow field and pick a kilo in an hour lol

Plants look luverly, and I'm looking forward to anything trippy you may grow. :laughtwo:

Wow when I was young I could do that in cow pasture but no longer.

I’m lookin forward too, LC! Let’s hope we have something here.

Happy holidays all of to whom it may apply. Today we are giving thanks for these beautiful little monsters. I’ve rearranged the tent some and kicked the ep Diablo out. I need another tent or a bigger one. But if I get a bigger tent I’ll have two tents. Anyway I haven’t decided what of the newcomers I’m keeping and what will have to be sacrificed.

So the royal creamatic and the sundae driver are really the show offs. I can’t believe how well they are doing and just hope my luck continues and they stay happy and healthy.

I'd cut off the huge fan leaves at the top of the Creamatic so the sides can catch up
It's a beautiful plant

I’m very tempted. I want to wait for some of the smaller stuff to get a little bigger before I give them full responsibility of catching rays. I will in the next day or two. Maybe tonight.

Beautiful!!

Thanks I’m just lucky I swear. I’m just happy it’s going well and hope I don’t mess it all up in flower.

Today is the first day of frost. We see some trichomes emerging on the sundae driver. Not a lot but in some leaves I clearly see some heads poking up. Reason I looked so closely today is that I smelled a little something in the tent. Something a little good 😌

The rest are coming along only slightly faster than watching the grass grow. Tomorrow I will defoliate some of the creamatic. Nothing dramatic I hope but I won’t know till I’m done. Kind of like my own haircuts.

I’ve got myself into a deli an and I want your input. I have three bubba brunch seedlings one epsilon in flower but it’s a runt. And one el diablo which is right on track. I’m going to flower the sundae driver and royal creamatic but after that I can only have three plant. What should I keep and what should I unfortunately cull. Epsilon, el diablo or a couple bubba brunch. And honestly with the size of the tent I’d prefer only two plant in flower at a time.

Another issue. Gnats. Never had them before but yesterday and today I see them flying near the leaves at the bottom. Are they an issue or just an annoyance. I’d rather finish this grow and put all the soil into compost and not worry about the gnats for now. It if they effect the plant I will do whatever is recommended to get rid of them.

Wow I didn’t think I really had an update but there seems to be multiple considerations today.

Thanks for checking it all out and thank for any tips, it’s very much appreciated!

(Also PSA: please be careful. I fell down my stairs night before last. I was only bruised up everywhere and scratched here and there. Could have been so much worse. I could have broken something or caught my self on a splinter or nail as I was without a single stitch of clothing when I took the fall. Anyway be careful, I was more surprised than anything else that I fell to begin with. Lady luck was with me. End of PSA)

Couldn’t decide on a song so there’s two.
