RP's 2010 outdoor grow

thanks placerville. Not done yet, still have a few more plants in the ground. I have only started to harvest the strawberry cough. The Blue hash is pretty close behind. I have a white widow that is just around the corner too. Headband, Sour Diesel and a couple Church ladies still have some swelling to do. Probably done around Halloween... so I still got plenty of work.

Amazing work RP! Gotta love a harvest that stretches thru all of Fall! ;)

:slide: sure do! Helps lighten the load too. My drying room is already getting full... and I am not done with the strawberry cough.

Looks like some awesome weather coming out way. With such a mild summer, I'm hoping for a long warm fall. Let some of the other ladies ripen up.

Still playing with those autoflowers, and the last few outdoors are just about ripe, so will snap some more pics. They are a fun plant to have around, but I wouldn't recommend as your only source. I got some nice shots with the camera, just need to upload.

LOL! I'm in the same boat w/ a couple autos. They were freebies with my last order and there is no way I could recommend to somebody that they should buy them. Grow them if they're free but there's way better options if you're paying for them.
I started a roadrunner & haze under 24/7 of T5 and moved them outdoors when they showed their pistils. I figured 10+ hrs of Sun is way better than 24/7 of floros.
They're just about ripe and the yield on the rr looks like about an oz but the haze barely has anything on it. Tiny marble sized buds and the plant is only 18" tall. The whole thing will go into the hash bag.
The rr is ok but I would rather have a $20 fem OG Kush seed over a $28 RR auto any day.
On the flip side it is nice to have a little something different especially if it's free. Plus the experience is invaluable. :)

haha you got it man! It's all in fun! I actually came across some diesel ryder and easy ryder seeds. I took the diesel ryder and grew them out early for a seed harvest. Now I have PLENTY of seeds to play with. Guess I should of tested first haha. Anyway, been putting them under all different hours of light to see how they act. I had three easy ryder seeds. Lost one seedling, the other two were female (fem'd). Grew one outside, the other inside under 20/4 floro (i've tried 24/0 and 18/6). The outdoor one turned into leafy crap. I think maybe the ruderalis traits showed through? It's the only one that did this. It's a trip. I'll have to get these pics uploaded. I've been slacking big time. The indoor Easy Ryder looks great but tiny. Basically one small 1/4 ounce or so.

Ounce seems to be the norm for the diesel ryder. I also started inside then moved them out with your exact thinking:

Next batch of these will also get tossed into the hash bags for me too. Love having those bags.... can almost always get something from the "trash". Like you said, it's the experience actually growing these that counts. It's fun.

by the way... currently reading through your journal. Wish I would have checked it out sooner! It's cool. Gotta be one of the most entertaining to read. A sweet setup, some cool ideas, and some killer looking bud and sweet music!!! Only on page 5, already taking some ideas from ya! Got some questions, but I'll save them until I read it all.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by. I appreciate everyone's kind words. I will try and do better with getting more pics up.

Been busier then a cat covering it's crap on a concrete floor, but I did manage to nab a couple pics. I have taken down the strawberry cough and the blue hash. I also recently harvested one of the Church girls, with the one in the ground still needing more time.

Some of the Strawberry Cough:

Made some cold water hash runs over the weekend. Also made some butter. Will be making cooking oil and storing in mason jars hopefully this week.

"Some" of the strawberry cough? Jeez, bro. I thought I was sick and tired of trimming, I can only imagine.....

I hope you've got some help with all that work. Once again, great job on the harvest. Mine's all coming down too and it's a good feeling. Peace.

:ganjamon: Thanks man! Was pretty stoked with the size the Cough grew to. Was a second generation from last summer. She made her mama look like a midget!

That pic is probably about 3/4 of the Cough harvest. But some of that plant gets donated to a couple patients truly in need. It's my "feel good deed" I suppose. A deposit in the Karma bank. :rollit:

Tired of trimming is an understatement. Any spare time I get I'm trimming away! But I do have help. The pace I move, it'd never get done. Was tempted to get one of those machine trimmers... but that's a lot of money for a decent one it seems.

Down to my last 4 plants outdoors. It's the home stretch! The Sour Diesel is looking tasty, but maybe a couple weeks away? Hard to tell, first time with this strain for me. Hopefully the weather cooperates otherwise it's an early chop for her!

The sticker is pretty representative of how I feel at the moment!

haha a milkshake would be quality right about now...

Rain is coming! Work has stepped up double time. Things are going great! But super busy! Loving life. Hope everything is good for you all too!
