As you started growing what's some common mistakes you've made? Also would love some feedback on things to do to get great yields and quality bud. Info on lighting, plant training, mediums, molasses? How long do y'all flower is one thing I know alot of people say push it an extra week? Any info will help

Let's see...flooding seedlings burning seedlings, letting seedlings stretch and blow over, watering too much, not watering enough, light leaks, pH imbalance, not enough light, growing outdoors when I would have been indoors growing indoors when I should have been outdoors...let see

Letting plants get too cold hot, humid, letting seeds dry out, keeping seeds too wet, choosing the wrong strain to top and train, using cold water on seedlings, not using cal mag...
Overwatering, under watering, under lighting, over lighting, overheating, overfeeding, pots too big, pots too small, bad soil, drowning seeds, drying out seeds, running out of calmag, underfeeding, low pH, high pH, wrong nutrient mix, wrong grow partners leading to nightmare scenarios, light leaks, hermaphrodites seeding grow, males seeding grow, police raids, loose lips- told wrong person then had to shut down, accepted gift clones with mites- took two years to eradicate, mould, timers burnt out and caught on fire, timer set wrong leading to reveg and hermies, bulbs exploding, ballasts dying causing shutdown and freezing temps that killed grow, major fan noise issues, major odor control issues, plugged drain causing flood, overgrown plants burnt by lights, vacation watering system timer set wrong leading to death of most of grow, vacation water system pump failure killing most of flowering room, serious fungal issues causing years of cloning troubles, vent fan dying causing total overheat, jarring too wet causing loss of multiple harvests to mould, light schedule interruptions causing reveg and/or hermies, ph pens dying, movement fans dying, thermostat dying, bud moulding in dryer, constantly breaking stems....

When introducing something new (fan, lights, dehumidifiers) not double checking that the light timer is still working. Not double checking that LEDs inside the tent are taped over. Not double checking for light leaks in general.

Too low soil level in buckets.
Root aphids and fungus gnats from garden compost.
Lights timer stuck on 24/24.
Too little nutes.
Too much nutes.
Humidity spike, and atomizing humidifier with hard water, calcium dust clogging up the filter.
Bud rot.
Too high temps.
Too low humidity (10% - 25%), seemingly leading to small plants.
All of this this in less than 6 months. Of these it could look like the low humidity is the most yield-limiting factor so far. I may have taken down some plants a little too early, as the lower and somewhat shadowed growth wasn't as ripe as that on top. However, I've pulled six plants through all that, and the smoke is most satisfying

Forgetting it's a weed, and killing with kindness!
I get a laugh out of it too. The one thing I don’t get a laugh out of is in the ‘loose lips’ category. That’s a bad one- the gift that keeps on giving. I had some dealings with the wrong guy several years ago and even up till very recently he has been blathering around town -speculating about me and my grow. Ugh. If he was a mite I could just spray him....
And that covers about...everything
There are a bunch of problems I forgot and didn’t list. But I should also mention that there are lots of problems I’ve never had! Like cats. But don’t worry I won’t list them all....

Uhoh. I know somebody out there can see exactly what my ladies need. It’s my first time running into a toxicity issue like this. The internet is full of too many lies and I don’t have the right information!!!
Biggest issue is overwatering, followed by too much/little nutes, wrong nutes/timing. Then light issues (indoors).

In my case, it isn’t overwatering or light issues. They shouldn’t burn though. I cooked the soil mix a couple weeks prior to planting the 2 week old seedlings

. That water was supposed to be sucked up by the roots. I only watered last night so I can still pull that out. Usually, I can leave that runoff and the plants will love it…

The reason they look like that is not due to overwatering though.
