Ron Paul Talks Hemp, Federal Regulation In ND Visit

Just a friendly curiosity...So if the choice is between Paul who is a friend of ours, and Gary Johnson who is a friend of ours and wants to end the war on drugs...you'd rather write in Ron Paul who isn't on the ballot than vote for Gary Johnson who is?

Yes, I will vote for Johnson if that's the only choice available but I prefer Paul politically.

I'm for our original constitution to be revived and that's what Paul keeps saying he is for doing.

My vote will go to whomever will end the war on our beloved plant.

I guess it's easy for someone not having to live in fear because of their choice of medication but if you were forced to live in fear everyday, you could understand why we are just a little more desperate to see this horrible war ended.

I guess if I had it made because my state had legalized Cannabis already, I might be able to focus on other political issues but as it stands now in Georgia, I could face a harsher sentence for my choice of meds than I might for murder, which there is something terribly wrong with...don't y'all think?

I guess I don't expect everyone here to understand what it's like to live in a police state where you have to keep a constant eye over your shoulder, every single time you get in the car to go somewhere.

There's nothing fun about going to prison for a single seed!

So YES! I do want our next president to end the war on Cannabis and I only see two people running that say they'll do just that! One of these guys will have my vote come November. :thumb:

That's what I'm doing as well, voting for Ron Paul on Super Tuesday, but if he isn't nominated by the RNC, I will vote for Gary Johnson. The only caveat being, if Dr. Paul gets his wishes and officially changes the RNC view and stance on the war on drugs, and Rand is selected as VP. Then it gets a little trickier for me. Of course he wants to win, but he makes no bones about it, he is staying in the race all the way to the convention regardless if he has enough delegates to win. Why, because if you have enough delegates within the RNC, you get a very strong voice within the party and can attempt to change their stance on the issues, and that is one of his goals.

I will be voting for paul at my states republican primary on 4/24.

You can choose to look at it negatively, and say "Oh well, my vote doesn't count" or you can be proactive about it and see what comes from it. Your vote really wont count, if it was never cast in the first place, it wont hurt to try.
