Day 31 from braking surface.

Temp: Max 76.5 Min 60.4 (Night time) Starting think this is too low for night now. But heating the tent might be a problem.

Watered:
1.00mL/L - Coco A + B
0.20mL/L - Roots
1.00mL/L - Calmag
1.00mL/L - Silicon

800mL Each to 10% run off.

Another photo after watering so they look sad again . will think on and take one before.

Have the day off work tomorrow so going to try watering twice. Once with out run off once till run off. Then if all is well Monday try up the nutes again.

Really looking forward to buying a PMM checker and seeing what really is going on with the nutes.

Looking really nice.

My plants tend to show frustration when my temps dip below 65F. The cabinet temp can be an additional 3 to 5 degrees cooler at the root zone as air is being drawn in along the floor and forced up.

My basement is heated in part by the cabinet so when that shuts down it can get chilly in the area. We are not yet consistently running the house heat. I'm a little stingy and kinda like the cool sleeping temp :)

I used a TDS/PPM meter during my first grow. I haven't touched it since. The pH meter is a must. Then simply watch your leaf tips. They will tell you when the nutes are too hot. You already know how much you are adding to the water. The meter just assigns another number. Additionally, the TDS will not tell you if you are over/under on a specific element. Save the money for pH pen replacements. That's my experience anyway. YMMV.

TDS may be more beneficial for a DWC setup perhaps but my experience is limited to soilless mixes.

You and I had our seeds pop up from ground on the exact same day. I am in coco as well, just using 7 gallon smart pots. Probably overkill because I hear most people say 3-5 is perfect for coco. I'll enjoy seeing how yours turn out. Looks like you are getting the hang of this pretty quick like. Good work!

looking very good see that we are about the same in days in on 32 now. planning to remove some big fans. wil u do the same or just natural?

Thank you Obi, some solid advice as usual. I never noticed my bedroom got so cold :-/ when I switch to 12/12 lights I might have the lights on durning the night to combat the temp drops as adding a heater will be a problem. Got plugs coming out of everywhere haha

From.what i read is u can take the oldest leaves with the most fingers.
For light. and also the plant wil put more energy in the tops. like now i can already see some leave n branch is not doing anything so i could take it off.

Little update photo:

Watered twice today once to minimal run off then the second to normal 10% run off.

So far Iv got to say they haven't drooped and normally but lights off they have. So little and often is better. I'll try watering this way again tomorrow. Until I figure out a automated watering system I can only do that on my days off.

Everything else is the same RT 61-78 and RH about 48% and pH 5.8

Am guessing this is alittle nute burn or burn from thee light been too close? The light is now 3 foot away from the plants. Iv been on 1/4 nutes last few days if everyone looks OK in the morning I'll boost to 1/2. Any ideas?

Still learning how to read what he plant is telling me .

Love your input it helps loads, many thanks in advance

This might come in handy to you, i will leave someone more experienced for a diagnosis but i would say check you pH again.

Looks like a copper issue? Are the leaves appearing shinier or darker with a blue/purplish tint? Shame it may be a deficiency because it's kinda pretty at this stage.

Congratulations on the girls! :slide:

Forgot to add...I put my really big fabric pots in a plastic clothes hamper with lots of holes setting on some pvc pipes to keep them elevated slightly. The smaller pots I put in kitty litter pans on top of some pea gravel.

Does this keep the bottoms of the pots dry?

It keeps the pots elevated so they don't sit in any runoff that I'm too lazy to clean up. The bottom of the pot only actually dries up though when the soil in the bottom begins to dry up. I'm finding it a great way to determine when I need to water without having to lift the heavier pots.

Very neat idea. I certainly looking at all options. Suddenly got very lazy so need a automated way to water and collect run off with out braking the bank :)
