Sitting on the front porch this morning with my Feb 2016 issue of HT magazine and couldn't believe my eyes. Page 48 bottom right; "Hydro growing's ideal pH range of 5.2 to 5.6 is based on a careful calculation that balances all 16 essential nutrients to make sure they stay dissolved and available to the plant."

Really? What world are they growing in? Glad I don't pay for this rag, it's more advertisements than articles any more. <smh>
 
Poor little Exp. Since she is one of about elenventy brazilian bag seeds I have laying around, and has a value of less than $0.01 on the market, :) I had to take a little aggression out on her. Took many photos of Q1 and ST tonight, not a single amber trichome. Grrrrr. No chance to chop, so I just broke Exp's back. She was getting too tall anyways.


 
Hey RM don't take out your anger on the women even her .... she could have made someone very happy with just a little time and love. If I were you I would have just gone to find a male plant and rip it out of the ground and chop it up since we all know that they deserve it. Take care, and btw I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again nice lookin' plants. :bravo:

She'll be alright. I just creased her real good. Bent her over the casting couch ya' might say. :xmas: She won't walk right for a week.:rofl:
 
Bat signal rifleman. Your hydro expertise needed here I can't imagine growing in an aerogarden herb garden. I know it's been done but it has to be a lot of work!

Oh wow! I would not want to try and do it. I'm still piecing together the 27 gal res top fed dwc for the tiny little project plant no one has noticed in my photos. Two air lines in it, and two to buckets. Do I see a couple of autos running while a scrog fills? Hmmm? The hogs know the answer to that, but they're not talking...unless you know ASL. They love to practice it, and will chat for hours telling everything they know.
 
I made the rare trip into town today. It seems there were some packages to be picked up. :) Prize packages that is. So here I sit after going through everything. Looking at it all...over and over. Still hard to comprehend the cool factor of it.

How to celebrate you ask...by packing my first smokecone and taking the edge off. So here I am, half way through smoking a cone with about 9 damn grams in it.:rofl: Can hardly wait to harvest and have enough to use the butter maker. Until then I will have to be content playing with the refillable lighter smaller than my usual Bic. Simple minds folks. :biglaugh: Well that and 9 damn grams.
