Rider509 First Grow - Indoor Soil - White Widow Journal - 2017

It's about 18" as of this morning. Some of the overnight height gain is from growth and some is from not being slumped. I watered it. No nutes yet. That FF Ocean Forest is hot stuff. And acidic as hell. I watered at pH6.8 and the runoff is pH6.4 still!

Hahahaha, yeah, there might be a chance... since I printed it out on photo quality paper and framed it! Yeah, I'm a dork like that. :)

Could be phosphorus deficiency what color is that stem? Either way flush and pH to 6.2-7 if using soil.

I'm almost positive that it's a phosphorus deficiency. And yes, the stem exhibits a red color. But there appears to be no reason that I should have a deficiency as pH and nutrient strength are in line with expectations, and I flushed with FF Sledgehammer a week ago. This plant has been a great performer until now. The frustrating thing is that it came on so fast.

I'm going to take a page out of the orchid handbook and foliar feed phosphates. With the speed of onset I don't have time for uptake through the roots.

Words of wisdom, encouragement, derision, or heartfelt condolences are all appreciated! LOL

Had to rearrange some things. The Gold Leaf got too big to stay under the CFLs. I'll have to pull the WWs out of the tent to water but that'll give me the opportunity to get it into normal light to assess progress.

You won't be disappointed! It took just a few hours of planning and prepping while waiting for UPS, and about two hours to assemble everything. They are melt your face off awesome! I have up to 80W sq/ft with the LEDs compared to 75W sq/ft with the 600W HID, but have to dial the LEDs back to about 40% because they are so efficient. A Kill a Watt power meter and a lux meter should be a consideration if you go this route. Check out Fanleaf's massive 42 COB array journal. Sixty four pages!
