Wowza - I have no words!

Trim porn, root porn, and brown paper porn! It's what dreams are made of Rex. :thanks:

And good for you to get out of the cold. It ain't ice fishing!
Glad you enjoyed, and thank you for the nudge to include some:)
Ice fishing....now that's something that hopefully I'll be doing more of this winter.
Wowza - I have no words!
Thank you Cjsbabygirl!

Bring the sterno!
Sterno? Heck no! That's a steel barrel and firewood at minimum.

The nicer huts have wood stoves right inside. I was at one last winter for a visit...they had a wood pellet stove inside, now that was nice.

Fun times and lots of good memories ice fishing.

So this morning the deed was done, and the White Berry Auto (at Flower Day 54 & Day 93 above ground) has been removed from the tent. She is currently in the process of being harvested
Congratulations on a wonderful White Berry harvest! Sorry it took so long to trim, but that just means you have a lot of buds. :)
Top buds are solid as rocks, mids seem mostly solid, some larf for the MB machine.
Sounds like a winner! :thumb:

Thanks BeezLuiz! It all got finished up, it just felt like a lot due to frigid temperatures. I'm looking forward to jarring and sampling :cheesygrinsmiley:

Has anyone here tried grove bags? Sounds almost too good to be true

The root porn :Rasta:

Have you got it dried yet? Did a miss a smoke report or final weight?
Good morning.
How are you doing today.
Have you finally escaped from trim jail.hehe.
Stay safe.
Bill

Quite a haul! Congrats!
Thanks DeeBoy! It was a really fun grow!

Thanks Verbalist! I have somehow resisted testing until a dry and cure takes place. Well, a proper dry at least. A few minor bumps in the drying. See below!

Hey brother! Thanks for dropping by! I'm a free bird again! The trim was done the next afternoon. Its all in the fridge. A rather nice haul at that too!
Rex,

:slide::slide::high-five::high-five::cheer::cheer:

Just awesome
Thanks Krissi!!!

So, as I've mentioned...it's rather cold right now out in the garage. This has added an unexpected impact on the drying.
When drying in the fridge, the fridge compressor needs to kick on every now and then (to my understanding), to help with the drying process. When the garage is colder then the fridge...that compressor doesn't seem to kick on as much. So...this is turning into a Super Slow and low dry.

So, last night I borrowed a page from Shed's rice ball drying trick...and made a big bag of dried rice, which spent the night out in the freezer.

I just checked it, and doesn't seem to have had the desired impact.

So for the next bit, I've got the fridge door open, and the big dehumidifier turned on inside the fridge doorway. That should remove some moisture.
I'll head back out there later and see what kind of work around I can come up with...

Great to see all that smoke , the set up to see both sides hell ya . P4000 definitely does it’s thing building the frost . I almost chopped yesterday too big of a day .
Some how I get out of the bud wash . Mama likes doing it but that’s all . I went and mopped the floor up a few minutes ago .
Whiskey bottle buds is not just a dream it’s the strain like you said and we’re going to find it !
Bluedreamatic auto sounds like just the strain your talking about .. those bids get damn fat by design. Some great examples been grown here too. Always rated barney farm laughing buddah for huge buds too. A great result rex

Cant beat a bit of perseverance and ingenuity. Low and slow every time bro . However we get there !!.

Thanks! I'll figure something out, didn't come this far to see it all get pooched. The Bruce Banner Auto has been in the fridge almost 2 weeks now, she's gotta get dried!!

You got a helluva a haul drying in there Rexer! I would LOVE to have that one day!

Thanks Ganjagranddaddy! Blue Dream in an Auto Flower is something that I really want to get my hands on. I've had great experience with it and helping my pain.

Thank you! Hopefully I can get it properly dried and jarred...then I'll take a big sigh of relief...then a few puffs ;) :bongrip:

And you could easily fill a fridge like that, you've got a better eye for details then me!

What Ive heard the slower is the drying process it should ”suck up” everything whats left inside the stems/stalk.

But your case theyre already cut off so dunno if that applies.
How moist are they? If you take some sample nugs and put them inside the jar with RH meter - let it be for a couple hours, whats the RH inside then? If it stays between 60-70% I guess you could start jar curing.

Or did I miss something? You going to normal jar cure them?

Hey Verbalist!

You are correct, once they get to at least 70% or so I can start jarring and burping. But....They're nowhere near ready for a jar. A simple touch of one of the nugs still shows too much moisture. This is strictly due to the fridge being in a cold environment, thus the compressor in the fridge isn't being used, and the moisture isn't being removed.

You want a slow process for the drying to help preserve terpenes. The cold environment helps terpene retention as well. But you still want it drying. Right now they're not drying.

Right now they're sitting in a cold stagnant environment without that fridge compressor kicking in. So for now I opened the fridge door with the big dehumidifier blowing some drier air in there. I may just unplug the fridge for now, leave the big dehumidifier in front of the fridge (with fridge door open) and set it for 65%.

So far, that seems like a workable solution. The plan may change if I come up with a better idea, but it wasn't something anticipated. I've done the low and slow (using the fridge) before, just not with sub zero temperatures outside.

Yup read your dillema with the fridge compressor. Does your fridge have any kind of adjustable thermostat?

And one thing with the dehumidifier could be an oscillating fan then(?)
If cold air helps terpene retention as well and youve a cold garage you could place the fan so the cold surplus air only would sweep a bit over them.
That would mimic like a cold growing tent wheres exhaust fan only taking air out/creates minimal air movement.
