OGD: You should think about LST'n some of the larger branches. Try it on a couple see how you like it. I think it will definetly benifit you. Just a thought.

I'm growing to grow them straight up so they make 1 big cola......not as interested in yield this time around... We are testing 3 strains , It's either going to be the G13 x diesel or the PPP.

My bet is on the g13 x diesel. PPP is great and a heavy yielder but that g13 is going to be just coated in trichs and hopefully that diesel smell.

I'm thinking the same thing...they look so lush growing big old fan leaves...it should be the most potant.....we shall see.

Ya know Butcher I only keep 1 mother under 24 hours light the G13 x Diesel I have cuttings of the other 2 stranes....I really like the structure of the G13 cross should do great 1 per pot 18" inches then switch them...

I did keep 2 NLs lights just in case....fingers crossed. I know what you mean about the big colas but to cure them properly they must be taken apart and jared.... the potency defiantly went up after a 2 week jar cure. I will always cure my herb that way, thanks to Pit's instructions.

No krispy weed for me....

at the least 2 weeks. Great job on that last grow as well. I bet that N.L smell is just stilnkin in those jars. Yeah man its hard to not keep a strain going. I've got about 10 different mothers going at the moment, not including the seed stock. We greedy bastards arent we. Just want to have our cake and eat it too..LOL

Well here are a few pictures, The G13 x diesel and the Pure Power Plant are having no problem with catching up with the 3 mother clones in the back....boy are they going to bud up all kind of sites on the PPP.

Eeeek, you wasted no time getting right back goin! Your ladies r lookin healthy as heelll dude. I think you're gonna outdo the 2.13 from the last grow fa sho. ur prolly gonna wack 3+ outta this one

All I did is cut up all the colas (which I keep separated) and fill as many jars as I could 1/2 to 3/4 way full, giving the bud to move around and slow dry,

I took the bud when it was dry enough to burn but not crispy dry but still flexible

You role the jars to round off the buds, and spread the moisture around......

you open the jars 4 to 6 times a day for 10 or 15 minuets to vent out the moisture....

you do this for 2 weeks and your stash will be dry and leathery and ready to smoke...smelling and tasting better

There is a big difference I found in cured bud over just dry enough to burn....



Damn if the stuff has gotten better potancy........

The blue cheese is growing kind of spindle I'm not to fond of the structure of the plants
I will probably stick with the other 2 strains I have going......

OGD, I went back to the beginning of your journal to look at the clones you took - they were potential bud sites and not individual leaves? I took one or two sites then chickened out and thereafter took just major leaves. What kind of success do you think i'll have? Thanks, man,

You cant root leaves, what is required is 2 leaf nodes with the leaf removed below the soil level or inside the clonex because that is where the roots will come from besides the bottom end of the cutting. There is a way to merstem a plant but it requires a lab and plant cultures and a sternal glove booth. I have done this with Orchids to make merclones.
