Ok so I decided to chop two of the UD specimens. I'm glad I did, now I'll have a lil' somethin somethin to get me by while the other 2 UD specimens, Blackberry,Swiss Cheese, and JD plants ripen up. It might seem a tad bit early for the harvest on these two plants to some folks, but one of the things about growing successfully outdoors, consistently, is being able to adapt with your weather. With the humidity and El Nino effects lingering, sometimes it's best to cut right at first sign of rot, it only takes 24-48 hours for a cola to go in the correct conditions for spore germination. So it was just a little golf-ball sized top I lost, which pretty much a negligible loss. If it was extremely dry out, it would be different and I could let them go another week without worry. The popsicle pheno isn't quite as frosty as the other harvested pheno, but it's incredibly dense and has hidden trichomes in the rough. Everything else came out clean and nice and the other plants seem to be dealing with the humidity better than these denser variants. So I'm real happy with how things are going.
UD Pheno 1, the furthest along and best phenotype, which somehow smells like fruity berries, it's almost indescribable at this point.
UD Pheno 2, the popsicle pheno, most likely a more indica dominant version, as compared to the other pheno. This one has a bit more of a peppery overtone.
Nonetheless, it should dry up real nice and be a great puff while the other flowers ripen.
Here are those Jack Dawg mothers in vegetation, but not for long. I will release them soon.
Mother clone 1; 39 days ago; never fimmed or topped
Here is that plant today, LSTed
Mother clone 2, let me illustrate this one. This plant was never fimmed, topped, or anything. It great naturally symmetrical, and then I LSTed it today;
Here was this plant ~39 days ago (7/28)
