Good Mornings Herb brotha Bee :volcano-smiley:, thanks a bunch. Good to have you swing by, temps coolin' on down and supposed to have some cold rain tonight, but it should be nothing more than a natural cleansing :) Happy Days my friend, hope you and yours are doing well. :circle-of-love:

Gratz Brotha
maybe one day ill have some purple but then again green isn't bad either

Nice purpling, I guess partly due to the weather :Hookah: And these spicy terpenes aren't they? Well, for every bud there's a season :)

So is this the rest of the plant you chopped the top half of on the 16th Lest?

Yeah, I would say so! :high-five:

Yes, they are, I should have been more specific ;) Swiss Cheese top 2 colas are getting ready to come down as well. They loved their natural cleansing tonight :surf:

Well in that case congrats on the blueberry completion.

Thank you so much, it has been a long time coming for that plant. Crazy how they just become a relic of the past.... :volcano-smiley: :volcano-smiley:

Harvested the two main colas on the Swiss Cheese mother plant, leaving the middle canopy to grow for a few more days. Some of the KC-45 flowers are also getting pretty close. I'm impressed with the colors on the Swiss Cheese, got real lucky with this pheno being it was the last seed out of 10 from last year. I just knew when it was a little plant and it was giving off this really unique stink, winterfresh smell when rubbing the petiole... well, good thing I cloned it then because I love my Swiss Cheese. The Blueberry too is treating me quite well, it's quite an amazing hybrid that carries a heavy body high, but also has that really unique motivational spirit about sativas that makes you feel "better". Anyhow, I rearranged the planter bed and tried to batten down the hatches as best I could -- storms 'acomin! Winds will be high, into the 20 mph range, and we will likely have another nice downpour of cold rain. Usually with a tough weather event like this, I have seen increased ripening rates after the storm. So, more flowers will come down soon. There's been a few black ahpids under the leaves, but that's been the only pest annoyance lately, I just pick them off by hand, usually they attack the weaker leaves that are on their way to death, so those can just be plucked off anyway. It seems that the bugs become more attracted to the fully flowering plants (go figure), than just a fresh green plant. But that's not quite the case in the bug-ridden Spring and Summer. Well, as soon as the vegetative period (Spring) starts, the little CFL veg chamber will be decommissioned and the bed will be filled with green specimens. Likewise, any plant that hasn't the chance to fully finish flower, or gets interrupted by the longing day hours, will just get forced flowered in the ol' veg chamber which now becomes a dark chamber. Another observation, it seems that through cloning multiple generations of the clones of a specific strain, the flower formations, and ideal traits become much more stable, the KC-45 flowers, which are coming off 3rd generation clones, are really nice specimens, though small. Deciding on whether I want to grow more KC-45 or just switch fully over to the Swiss Cheese as the main strain. Will probably take a clone of the Jack Herer though :yummy:

Okay enough garden notes for now, onto some pictures;

Aloha Brother Bee! Glad to hear from ya, the winter meds are turning out better than expected. Thanks for the kind words, and hope all is going well for you up there. Looking forward to another good year :cheertwo:

Fascinating seeing how an experienced grower half a world away does it. So many wonderful threads on here:bravo:
Thank you kindly! :thanks:

Lester, those Swiss Cheese buddettes look really sweet. A friend just turned me on to some awesome Jack Herer, hope yours turn out just as good!
Yeah I love the pink in the leaf colors! Really beautiful plant. Yeah I have never grown Jack Herer so hopefully it comes out the way it should :)

Looks Great Brotha and Gratz :thumb:
Mahalo Brother! :high-five:
Amazing colors! :circle-of-love:

Kc-45 one of my favourites

Yeah, the KC definitely has that unique sativa look to her buds and leaves, it's great herb too, but that Swiss Cheese really has a flavor that I'm attached to :yummy:

Yeah I got some JH beans myself, will probably pop them eventually.
