Relaxed's 2014 Outdoor Medical Grow

I know it's impossible to beat 70 day plant, but if you wanna enjoy potency and yield while sticking to quick turnover, you just take a indica dominant hybrid, veg for 4-5 weeks starting in February or March, force flowering in April, and you get buds in June :)

But still I can understand the convenience of autos. This stuff is not for me though.

:thumb:

Great convo guys. I never even pondered the idea of ordering autos. When I first became a 420 member the main thing a gathered from all the auto info I read is that they're really just good for a rush harvest of good smoke. Now I'm actually debating on ordering a couple.
But what I'm debating on even harder is what time is my favorite part of Thursday going to be posted by Lester... LOL

Good morning herb Lester. How's the ocean breeze this morning? Cloudy, windy and rainy here. Just what a person want to wake up to. NOT. Have a great day. :high-five:

Aloha Brotha She looks good Great Thurweed day to you :thumb:
Aloha Brotha! :ciao: Thurweed day is here and a Grand Cronic weekend is on the rise! :surf:

Good Afternoon! Weather is pretty decent here, fogged in about 25 miles out, we are clear and sunny perched upon our cliff. What a change in weather for you, I envy your growing skills Sir! :bravo:

Weekly Update Hello Everyone, here is the Thursday update, and I will post more pictures over the weekend as I find the sun at the right angles and actually feel like trying to get some good shots. I'd say not too much magical stuff going on right now, I'm not too over all impressed by things other than the Blackberry flowers. The bushy plant in the tent stinks like no tomorrow, stinks more than the OG's I grew last year which is hard to imagine, and there isn't even any buds on her yet. Plants were watered with D&S Step 2 for the KC's and Step 3 for the BB's. I think the bug problem is taken care of for the most part, still a few stragglers out there but nothing a little spray can't take care. Humidity gone way up, found a bit of powder mold on a KC leaf or two, may need to spray with the SNS-244. Well time for lunch people, everyone have a great rest of the day, I'll be on later to rant and post some more. :ciao:

Nice buds, I assume the bud shots are the BB not KC-45?

Yeah, correct, the Blackberry plants are the only ones currently in flower. The KC-45 autos in the tent are not really doing much in terms of flowering, still stretching... just watching and waiting.

Looking really good Lester. I have a question. Those containment areas you have the girls in, are they old planters or ponds? Just wondering. It's nice to see the sun a shining. :bravo:

Thanks Brotha! Yeah it's just an old planter bed that wasn't in use. Seemed like the perfect place to put my medicinal herbs, especially since they get the first rise of the morning Sun. Some of our planter beds are made with bricks, some with redwood, and some with native rocks from the area when the house was first built in the '60s. I always enjoy having the rocks in the background of the plants, for some reason it is aesthetic to me. :circle-of-love:

Now it's officially Thursday. If I can just get one of these plants on this next run to blow up with nice and full colas like that I'll be a happy camper.

I like this. Maybe, it should be called "A Stoned Garden"?

:peace:

Thanks BAR! It's definitely a relief to see fully forming and well-shaped colas after watching the airy pheno of the KC-45 grow for 5.5 months  Although the Blackberry yield won't be high, I think my plan to collect Blackberry samples by late June/July is going according to plan. It looks as though the weed God's would like me to have Maui Waui and Blueberry this year, as those are the only new seeds that have sprouted! There may be a Swiss Cheese coming up any day now. No Panama Red so far... I'm just gonna wait couple more days and then germinate some more. Really would like to have at least one harvest of each strain. Should be a tasty year. :yummy:

 I think it already is lol

Jai Ho Shanti Baba Aloha
I have to ask why did you put oops on that photo :):passitleft::whoa::whoa:it was honestly one of my favourites,, lovely shape and a nice even canopy of lovely big buds:thumb:an they all look real healthy:theband::party:Grow on Brother Love to you :circle-of-love::peace::circle-of-love:
Aloha Good Day! Haha yeah, my finger got caught in the upper left corner and so I put oops on there. Didn't want to throw away or re-take the pic because I liked how it focused on the buds. I realized after I added it that I couldn't remove it, and maybe it wasn't necessary lol "double oops" Yeah, like I said, yield isn't high, but this is really high grade stuff growing. Very mild and smooth floral taste, nothing skunky at all. But its got a musty flavor with a hint of fruit. Maybe a slight hint of berries, but I think her flavors are still developing immensely. In a few weeks time I'll prolly hit them with some bat guano to help beefen them up.

Mahalo Brotha and Have a wonderful day~! Relaxed is there in spirit :Namaste: :passitleft: :circle-of-love:

everything is happy and tranquil in your garden :)

Hey thank you! You couldn't of said it better. The crickets sing to them at night and entertain them as they work through the night. And as the morning Sun rises, the birds start to sing all their different tunes, this continues throughout the day, it's just amazing to go out and see how beautiful they are in the morning, tranquil and bliss in their own little habitat. Maybe some more magic will happen with them, and hopefully I can get a bumper harvest out of the bushy one, since I'm not doing 6 footers this year, hopefully things fall into place in the next 6 weeks with these new plants. :Namaste:

OH Yea looking good buddy. Love taking pictures of the girls. the babies are looking great also. Happy Freeweed day
