Regrowth: Growing Clones & Getting Stoned

Any thoughts on when to harvest? Should I give her a bit longer?
I might need to trade her out for something else in the next run to meet deadlines.
I was thinking of taking her tomorrow.

Good morning, it looks like about 90 % of white pistols are gone.
So she is close.
Probably just into the harvest able window.
So if your stuck for space you can chop but I think they would benefit from another few days.
Nice work.

I was hoping the NL would have a better terpene profile this time around...
But she still just smells like orange peals. I'm still thinking of swapping her in the next cycle.
Maybe I can trade her for an MOAB or something.

She's all trimmed and hanging now. I said it would be easy but it still took me most of the day.
Anyway, it looks like I dodged a bullet because I spotted some early signs of mold.
The insides of the colas were light colored and of course the telltale signs were there,
dead pistil clusters and white bud tips. Luckily, nothing got tossed and it was mostly the lowers and larf that were effected. Still though, I'm happy I had my dehumidifier.

I got the freakshows today. There's 5 crosses and 5 more crossed to one of the first 5 crosses.
It seems to be about 100 seeds. This guy has been so generous to me since I started growing.
Thanks again. I don't know when I'll get to trying them all, but there's plenty here to keep me busy. Things might get a little freaky.

Even if it loses 10% weight in moisture
14.175oz (397g) at 1.32g / w
18oz (504g) at 1.68g / w (larf)

Previous total (different strains and SCROG)
22.1oz (619g) or 2.06g / w (larf)

I didn't train much, or do a staggered harvest, nor did I SCROG this time but I still think things went well. I'm confident that these strains could've bested my previous grow with a little more effort. The @Mars Hydro FC3000 performed very well in my 4x4 grow tent. Thanks for following along.

The scissor hash was pretty good. Buds usually cure for a month or two before I touch them.
Things might be quiet for a bit but if everything goes well, I'll see you all soon.

You got more patience than me! I always Tearing into my curing jars and taste testing from week 1 of cure :Rasta:

OK I lied, I actually taste test straight up off the drying line :headbanger::snowboating:
 
I might lose the Zkittlez because I wasn't burping it like I should've been.
It's my fault for taking the 'no burping' thing with these bags too literal. damn.
Fuzzy white on the stems, slightly brown colored leaves and of course the ammoniacal smell...
I picked a few buds out that were starting to rot and I'll leave the bag open overnight to try to get the rh down enough to stop it from continuing. I might be SOL though. That's lot to lose to stupidity. I kept the larf separate so not all is lost I guess. For anyone trying out the grove bags, don't skip on the 2 weeks of initial burping. :straightface:

That hurts. Do you know how dry they were when you put them in the bags? I put a hygrometer in the bag and make sure it doesn't get above 70%. If it does, paper bag for a day and try again. I'll be checking the bags more frequently now, though.

It was too wet going in the bag and that's my own fault for trying to rush things.
I burped for the first few days but that wasn't enough and I should've know that.
Having some mini hygrometers probably would've kept me from making this mistake.
I would recommend burping for 2-3 weeks before sealing the bags if you plan to.

Anything noticeably moldy got thrown out but it wasn't more than a few grams in total.
By leaving the bag open overnight and burping all week, it stopped progressing.
The issue now though is that it's a bit dry and the terpenes never recovered.
Mostly, it still smells a lot like ammonia and I know the mold is still lingering.
The nose is way different compared to the larf or the last cycle I ran of the same cutting.
Honestly, even though it's probably fine to smoke I'm not wanting to.
I'll probably QWISO it or give it away.

If my stash wasn't as big as it is at the moment I would be a bit more upset - but I've got plenty to see me through until the next harvest... even a little too much. It feels like I'm growing just to grow and my lungs can't keep up.
