RedRyders Deez Nuggs Mephisto Grow

Make sure you water to run-off every time.
She kept her alive, good job. :thumb:
How is your grandmother doing?

Yes sir i do! And she is doing better than you would figure a 90 y/o women who broke her hip/ leg would do! she had to have a rod and some screw put in and she was immediately walking with a walker!

And yes keeping alive is huge!

Whats up guys! Its is day 41 of my Deez Nuggs grow and they are really starting to fill out and the buds sites are really showing!
I do think i have a slight calmag def and am going to supplement with liquid calmag next watering! If you look closely you can see a few rust spots a on couple leaf nothing crazy or anything I'm worried about!

The plant that sprouted six days after the first one has gotten much taller than the older one must be a taller pheno but overall they are really looking good! The lime green of the leaves are slowly turning more and more of a darker green with each watering!

And thanks to the one such as @Bill284 and @Melville Hobbes who have been following and commenting/liking my posts its really big to be to have a great grow support group!

According to Mephisto I should only have about 3 to 4 week left until harvest and so far grow has gone smooth even with me having to be away from them for a couple weeks!

Day 45 Not what i wanted to be dealing with in flower! Plant 1 that is a week older both plants are packing trichomes on sugar leaves and smells delicious with hints of orange and a lot of gas but, I couldn't get down to my local hydro store to grab calmag until yesterday and plant1 is suffering! I really think its a calmag issue But anyone have opinions?

I tested my runoff water at 6.6 ph so i don't think its a soil issue! I know it will take a little time to see if the calmag made a difference I also added a tsp of recharge per gallon of water and right know they are taking a gallon of water ever 2 to 3 days so I'm going to keep add calmag next water as well! Now i dont understand why the calmag in the roots organic nutes arent doing it? So what I'm hoping if the microb population was down after being underwatered for 2 weeks and hopefully the recharge will help with that problem!

Any opinions? @Bill284 or anyone else?

I think you’re taking the correct steps.
Full strength calmag in the water first then nutrients in order.
Then feed to runoff every time.
Recharge will do its job and they should pickup nutrients better.
Ph out indicates soil is ok.
Have you ever flushed the pots?

No I have not ever done a flush on them next water I can check the ppm to see if it has to much in the soil?
as you can see the other plant (plant 2) was starting to show the same issue and i could see it get worse every day! After calmag yesterday I didn't see any further progression of rust colored spots on the leaf!

Also is it possible to foliar spray some calmag And if so would it act as a temporary immediate solution? @Bill284
Yes a mild solution as a foliar spray can be helpful.
If things don’t improve with the CM a flush with plain water will usually clean out the root zone.
3x pot size in a sink or tub.

So Basically 5 gal pot with 4 gals of media = 12 gallon flush?
Yes for a proper flush of salts built up around the roots.
Run plain water through.
3 x the pot size.
So 4 gallons of soil requires 12 gallons of plain water.
If you have a laundry tub to set it in its easier.
See if the calmag works first though.

It's weird plant 1 is barley using any of the water in the pot. But plant 2 is dry again today. Both get a gallon of water at the same time. No sign of overwatering I don't think on plants 1. I hope my roots are OK lol

You have to water them at different times.
In flower you don't want to completely dry out but they still need a bit of a dry period between watering.
One might have a bit bigger root system and drink more.
Lifting the pots will give you a decent idea if they are ready again.

Also @Bill284 can salt build be an issue with organic nutes?
What nutrients are you using again? :Namaste:
Did you feed to runoff every time?
How long have they been in those pots?

That's how I'm figuring out how much water is in each pot. The older one is just so much heavier than the younger plant! So I'll just hold off watering until it's light

So i just watered the younger healthy plant a run off ph was 5.8! Im not sure if i should water the older plant since its still holding a bunch of water to check it! The super cheap tds meter I have said ppms of the water was 2100! To high i know, but I dont really trust it either and the plant is healthy! I did water at 6.5 ph! None the less im going to water with 7ph water next watering to see if i can get the ph back up!

Concentrate on what’s going in.
Chasing run off can be problematic.
Make sure they drank what was previously fed to them before feeding again.

Thanks @Bill284 I will definitely take the advise. And I know now exactly what I messed up! The beginners curse! Overwatered! It showed calmag def cause the roots just quit uptaking due to drowning! Dang it! Well lesson learned plant1 is slowly shriveling away still is holding a crazy amount of water after 6 days (pot still heavy) maybe I'll get a little something I can press for a little rosin! It is still putting on trichomes and smells delicious but I'm not thinking its going to put on much bud weight! Plant 2 is doing amazing and is healthy as can be! So this grow wont be a total failure but instead a great learning experience!
