Hey GrizzWald, is it common for a trileaf to end up male? I have one in my tent now. It's a midnight express auto just 2 weeks old. I absolutely adore this plant so I will be crushed if your answer is yes to mostly being males.

I would say being an auto it would be feminized, id highly doubt it would be a male

Yeah post a pic.. now as for being female cause auto, it's still a Whorled Phyllotaxy. Did it start out with 3 cotys and first node, like my pic? I've got another that started at third, feeling are that one will be a girl.. boy auto pollen would be a good thing if you want to make some auto beans.. I think I saw MrAmazen say he had a Whorled Phyllotaxy auto that ended up male...

autos can be male, can cross a regular bean to an auto and will still be auto, this is how they are breeding the "super autos", what im saying is that being a feminized bean there is probably more chance of it being hermy than male if it comes to that.

Looking at the pics it doesnt look like it is still growing whorled, looks like everything after the first set of nodes is normal

I just found the quote from Mr Amazen

running thought but thought I'd drop these in before I dash off again. This was my tri leaf plant. It grew with 3 leaf sets until day 20 ish when it started putting normal nodes out. It was a pineapple express auto from barney's farm and turned out male.

Would be a pretty rare occurrence but then again whorled plants are rare on their own Id keep an eye on it, still too young to physically tell but will be interesting to find out I only ever hed the one but i cant remember which plant it was i know it turned out to be fem but it was only the first set of nodes like that, the rest of the plant reverted back to normal
