Yes, I would wait till they green up a bit more, indicating that the roots are working well. How long should I wait before topping the clones? They came out of a bubble clones so I imagine it taking them a bit to get rooted into this medium nicely.
Lol. I've been playing with the Photoshop app. I'll get some close ups. They are even looking better now.I'd wait for explosive new growth before I'd consider topping clones. You don't want to shock them when they are still getting their support structure down below. The seedlings really seem happier now!
Feel free to post 4 pics instead of a 4-box so we can get a good look at them .
Yes the clones look like they are getting over the shock too. I might have had that hlg 65 light a bit close. I raised It up this morning. It has no dimmer and the quantum boards throw some serious light. At 2 feet it covers that 1x3 space easy.Growth is looking much better Reave! Stick with the plan .
These clones were in a bubble cloner under a light for quite a while they had lots of roots about a foot long. That sounds like perfect numbers for sprouts and clones! I keep clones under CFLs 24/7 until I feel like they are behaving like real plants. Then I acclimate them to the sun over a few days.
Good to know. Those things clone awesome though. 8 out of 10 lived. The reservoir dropped a bit so 2 of the were not touching the water. Other than that can't complain about the process. It was easy.It can take a while for a plant to convert water roots to soil roots. Something I learned after I built my aero cloner.
Oh mine is air but I saw your thread too. That one looks great as well.Water pump or air pump? If it's a water pump, check out the DIY aerocloner in my sig.
