Reave's Perpetual Grow

Hey Reave, I know you're doing the Coots mix for the first time but your plants are looking really superb, you can't get a better start than that - well done! p.s. I am envious about the ACE sativas, I'd really like to kick off a couple of those myself!
Oh thank you so much for the possative feedback. I have pestered @bobrown14 a bit so I can’t take all the credit. I sure am happy with the results so far. Hopefully I can do them well the whole way through. I am also super excited about that sativa!!!

Hoping to sex the two regulars. Got a pretty good chance of getting one right? 75% chance I believe of getting a male.

Anyway what to the fine people here are 420 think?

Update The Cure

Made it into the jars 5 days of drying, after 24 hours of being in the jars. I might need something not cardboard to slow the dry down more. Maybe next time I will use the tent instead of the dry box so we can slow it down a bit more. I had the humidity of the box set to 65% RH and about 22 degrees.

Got 4 of the jars from the Alaskan Purple , they weigh about an ounce each.

Hi 420 Friends,

Time for a informational update. We won’t be looking at the individual plants today but the grow as a whole and how I have worked to dial in all the variables

Update Veg Tent

Since I am done with the dry box I moved the humidifier into the tent with the plants. We have the humidity dialed in at 65% on average with 3% differential. The leaf temp is about 73F.

Infrared Thermometer

Reuired for checking leaf temp , looks

You can see that the leaf temp is lower than the ambient temperature by 3.5 degrees Celsius which is a big difference.

Tent Hygrometer

Checking in at 79F. The leaves are 5-6F cooler than the ambient tent temperature

Humidity Controller

Using the humidity controller to run the humidifier and instead of a dehumidifier I run the extraction fan when the humidity creeps up. I have it set with a 3RH differential in both directions. If it hits 62RH the humidifier runs. When it hits 68RH the extraction fan kicks in.

The Cure

Hygrometer read 63% after another day. I burped for about 15 minute and put the kids back on.

Right after burping and sealing. Already gone up another RH since the photo to 58 and it will rise over another 24 hours.

The Vegging plants

Taking the tent by storm here, I am just waiting for sex then we up pot give it a week and going to go to flower. Each plant got a litre of RO water this morning. They seem to be just loving life.

Thanks to the 420 Family for all the assistance with my grows. As each grow passes I learn something new from the people here or from the mistakes I have made. Now I am really working on dialling in the grow and the cure. Thanks for stopping by to check out my progress and give constructive criticism I really have appreciated it

You’ve got it going on in here, Reave, I’m glad I found this piece of the 420 world.

I also love the inkbird controllers. I use their temp controllers, same idea for cooling the exhaust fan kicks on, and heating is the electric heater.

Keep up the good fight!

I like how you're dialing in your grows, beautiful update Reave!
Thank you good sir!

Thanks Dutchin. My first go with them pretty simple so far.

I can see why you posted the jar pic twice! It's the lovely end to all the hard work and should definitely be admired. :)

I tried to remove it multiple times and save and it just wanted to be there twice. Lol.

Very informative post, great to see so much detail and how you're dialing things in. I can't wait to get some rain around here and bring my rh up in the basement, I'd get some faster growth around here haha.

Thank you, yes the humidity seems to make quite the difference. I have a house humidifier too just hard to dial up in the winter but I don’t usually go below 40 rh in the house.

Yeah it sure does. I wish we had an air exchanger/humidifier for the house, so dry. I've tried everything except a fogger, but I feel that may cause other issues so I just deal with it. I think I'll do hydro in the dry months to compensate lol

I'd have to say that's full on flower. I've seen pistols when a plant reaches maturity, but never starting to bulk up on a top like that unless it's flowering.
