Alaskan Purple:

If we ignore the light bleaching which is what we are going to call it for now this is one beautiful plant. The purple is really coming out. Enjoy!!!!!

Update:

Afghani

She’s looking a bit grumpy, I’m thinking she might be cramped.

Started a tea for when I transplant into my coots mix in the next day or so. I confirmed with @bobrown14 that the coots mix is not hot but does get better with time so we can use it right away.

Tea is 1/2 cup EWC , 1/2 cup compost in a 5 gallon pale. Going to bubble for 20 or so hours.

Once the tea is ready and we soak down the new pots and we will transplant.

Hey reave, figured I should stop in and grab a seat somewhere and see what you've been up to.
I read the first and last page for now but it was quite a difference haha. I will go back a few more pages tomorrow when I have more time, getting late here now.
Otherwise those flowering ladies look beautiful. The issue on the leaf you showed us could possibly be light burn depending how close the light was., but I'm also suspecting it could have been a ph fluctuation since they are using up a lot of nutrients at this time. Has it kept progressing after lifting the light?

Anyways, carry on and don't mind me lurking :laughtwo:

Hard to say I will have to check tomorrow. I think you may be on to something with the ph fluctuations, I will keep this in mind. She’s about 2 weeks from done so whatever it is shouldn’t be a big deal. We can ride this out. Thanks for stopping by. Welcome to my grow where I can’t ever do any grow the same.

Yeah with only a couple weeks left I'd imagine things will be fine. They usually look a little tattered and torn by the time chop day comes anyway haha
I'm the same way, something always changing in the room

What a stunner, pretty and green! Wonder if it's going to show the Haze sativa stretch once she gets to flower.

Description says 130 cm tall. Not really sure what they are basing that on. I’ll send it into the scrog screen if we have to.

I have my decided how I am going to do this next grow quite yet. First I want to see if there is a male. The Afghani or the Amnesia Haze are regulars. Then I have a plethora of Sativas from Ace Seeds to choose from for mother’s.

I might take some clones in the auto cloner at 12/12 and see what happens after these grow out a bit more.

Oh that's not too bad for a haze, they must have bred out some of the lankiness. I grew and Amnesia Haze auto once and even that wanted to get tall and lanky inside, was only under 400w hps. I need to grow a couple sativa doms again soon

Welcome to my new journal!

Growing Dr. Seeds:
Gorilla Glue #4 x 1
Bruce Banner #3 x 1
Blue Dream x 1

Also growing old seeds from a friend:
Columbian gold x 5
These old seeds may not germinate. That’s why there is 5 of them. I have around 100 of these seeds hope we can get one to pop.

Still using Technaflora nutrients. They worked well for me on the first grow. I follow the recipe for success exact for the seedling and transplanting stages. For the veg and flower stage I divide the recipe by 3 and feed every time instead of feed water water at full strength. I found this to be more consistent through some tests in my first grow.

The medium is pro mix hp. This soiless medium is much easier to use than my original soiless medium since it brings the ph into range within reason so I will not be checking it for the most part.

I received the following after making a purchase from Dr. Seeds. Each container had 5 seeds and had really cool artwork:

The containers were packed with care and the seeds came inside a little vial:

Each strain of seed has been put in its own shot glass where they will remain for around 20 hours at which time they will go into the paper towel:

I learned so much from my first grow and I hope I can effectively apply that knowledge to this grow while continuing to learn so much more.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my journal and all are welcome along on my journey.
:Namaste:
Can’t wait to see what has gotttt brewingggf

Gonna be a nice harvest.
Could be my best. Light is 300 watts of Samsung LED (older generation I built myself, been going strong two years now). I have gotten 10 ounces , so anything over that should be my best grow and about 1gram per watt. Its hard to tell with them on the plant like that, they are very thick but who knows.
