GG7 is a great guy just as are many of the people here. I agree 110% with you on that. My longest flower is the Exile which is 65-70 days and the others are 55-63 days. So I will have a delectable harvest to choose nugs from and maybe even a plant for the contests. It would be an honor to run in those contests and have them be as close as the MotM for this month has been. :)
 
Hey TG I know you got the whole BPN arsenal but how regularly do you use the cal:mag? Only if you see a deficiency or do you do it every so many feedings? And do you use the root magic as well? Just got all the extras can't wait to use them. I got girls in week 2 and 4 in flowering and have so far only used the 2 part and small amounts of liquid blue. It won't hurt them to add in the seaweed and vitablue now right?

What BPN line of nutes do you have, 3 part 2 part? I have have 2 part nutes and the calcium is 4%. No need for any more than that. But I do have CaMg+ and thats tsp per gallon so I wouldnt add it as much if you do. I would say 1 every 3 weeks. When you adding and mixing nutes you always want to look at the ratios and add them up. To much calcium can harm your plants.

Using 2 part as well. Ill have to add it up. Have not used any calmag so far and they look healthy enough. I did give them a couple feeds with bud candy which has some mg in it but like I said not showing any deficiency.

Im growing in coco so extra calcium is needed. But I also mixed in bone meal which has a ratio of 7% so with the 2 part nutes of BPN thats total of 10% Calcium. So I dont need CaMg+ at all. Calcium will leach to coco so I have to be careful when it comes to that. If your in soil or hydro then you should be fine as well.

I only used a small amount of cal/mag during transition. You can add the others right now with no worries. I am running the 3 part all the fixin's but I do not have the root magic yet. It is on my list though. :)

Thanks for the reps DocDee. The only other time I would use Cal/Mag is if there is a sign of deficiency, I used it as a preventative measure. I think that having all the stuff on hand to combat an issue is key. It is like having a gun and not needing it vs. need a gun and not having it, I have been lucky that I have yet to see any problems with my grows yet. No pests and no issues should lead to great success. I am hoping I can keep it this way but know sooner or later my luck will run out. :)
 
I use the BPN 7 part organic. It's just so much easier. No need for adding this or that. It's got pretty much everything. I just follow the BPN schedule and do nothing else beside the occasional worm tea or mollassess. It came with 3 gallons (grow/bloom/micro) and 3 quarts (K-bud/dark matter/bio-juice). It's probably the same thing you guys are talking about. Oh ... it also comes with a large container of michorhizzea (or how ever you spell it). I couldn't pass on the price .... 75 bucks.

I was originally going to run with the Farmer's Pride line but Corey let me know he may slow down the production of it as it takes a lot of time. So when he let me know that I switched to the Elite 3 part and have purchased all the additives he offers for the High Yeild system. I will always use his products as they are all trouble free. I am going to push the envelope at the end as I have yet to have an issue so I am going to bump up the nutes a bit on my last feed as opposed to the directed amount. Also I think I am able to run hotter than I have from being in the soil I use. Never any signs of burn. :)

No problem they are much deserved! I just did a feed with 50% strength calmag just for like you said preventative measures. Makes sense to me! Thanks again.

UPDATE: 01-28-13 Day 37 of 12/12

Here are the photos you have all been patiently waiting for. As you can see the buds are starting to put on weight. I will add more photos later just after lights off or when I have time to move them to better light. I am happy with them so far. Some of the pistils are turning a light yellow orange on some of the buds.
