looks really nice, can you tell me (sorry if I overlooked it) how many hours a day your lights are on? I started some beans a day or two after you did and mine are nice but not nearly as big as yours. I am vegging them under led and GLR for the 1st time so the slower growth could be because of that, who knows.

Right now I am using a 400w MH, 12 on 5.5 off, 1 on, 5.5 off. GLR 13 hours of light a day. I think the BPN feedings have been a big part of the success.

Tactical.....I have read about this lighting before!!! But can't recall all the details.....is it expected to get the same growth as 18/6??? I know with the current light schedule it keeps them in veg....because of the hr in between!!

you can expedite the sexing by putting the clone on 12/12 from the start it will sex and root at the same time!
 
Yeah but then you are stuck with a tiny little plant that's in flower. Don't you loose product that way?
 
No you just reveg it after seeing the beginning of buds by putting back on the longer light cycle. It is how many people go about sexing their clones. They bring it back to veg after getting the first flowers. At least that is how I have understood it. I am sure one of my more knowledgeable friends will chime in soon. :)
 
That's cool. Wasn't sure how the whole "ReVeg" thing worked.
 
I believe there is a chance of hermie though. So I will probably just flower the top fully if it is a girl.
 
there is ALWAYS a chance of hermie! any plant any time, you can flower it or reveg it make it a mom and take clones from it, flower it harvest it leave lower 1/2-1/3rd reveg it make it a mom again, flower it again are ya smellin what im cookin here!? lol oh you can take 2 clones spray 1 with colloidal silver to make it hermie use the pollen to make feminized seeds on the second clone its an amazing versatile plant that wants to live and reproduce even if it means literally "going and fucking ones self!!" hehehe i had to sorry:high-five:

There goes the rampant breeder again. But now he wants my plants to have some incest in the family tree.... :) It would be great to have a ton of feminized GDP laying around though..... ;)

The girl really took well to the topping. I am very happy with how this grow is going. I hope I can keep her this happy and healthy.
 
So I have been researching for hours now and think that BID has turned me into a breeder. I am going to try to breed some GDP feminized seeds and also cross the GDP with one Cheese and one Fruity Chronic Juice clone. So I will have feminized strains of GDP, Grand Daddy Cheese, and Grape Chronic Juice.

Damn it BID, what have you done to me? I will need more info on how to do this so any information will be greatly appreciated.
 
First thing you'll need is a male .... LOL
 
Going to make the male with Colloidal Silver.... Oh boy now this growing stuff is going to get complicated.... Time to order a tent for the males... ;)
 
I'd make sure and keep the tent in a seperate building like the garage or something. Would hate that pollen to spread to your other girls.


Then again ...... i've smoke pounds of weed with seeds in it. It smokes .... gets ya high too. So, it wouldn't be the end of the world either. You'll just need a frisbee (that's what we used in the 70's and 80's) and a credit card ..... LOL.
