Sprout looking good to some advice and moved it closer to the light seen a second node in hours!

Yeah since you moved that light closer your gonna be shocked at what you see.
But, why don't you do this right? Go to home Depot and get the same bulb but in 75watt. They sell a 10 pack cheap.

Out my yard haha but I sifted it and sterilized it in the oven. (if this is the wrong way tell me idk any better just what the Internet told me)

I'm very interested in a self sufficient grow mainly cause I'm in fl and there are no grow stores in my area

Not only are there a few FINE grow stores in the South Florida Hollywood area I LIVE IN...
but Home Depot brand potting soil and 79 cents worth of styrofoam balls for good drainage, it's a blank I'm drawing for it's name.
By the looks of everything, your soil is going to be harboring and now colonizing all sorts of microscopic fungi, insects, mites, unlike good soils which have been pasteurized and enriched with EVERYTHING your plant needs for at least a month and a half.
Even clean soil isn't fortified for optimal nutrition.
Tip number 2.
NUTRIENTS.
They are FREE.
I have 5 seasons AT LEAST of companies that sent me samples of their liquid nutrients, their worm castings I LOVE, ETC... With the molasses are all VITAL to trichome production.
If it turns out male, you'll have learned to sprout more than one seed.
OH God that giant PowerPlant I got to about 3months and 7 feet and it went Hermaphrodite.
So I know what you mean about journaling and discovering its male.
Still. Google: Cannabis free nutrient sample.
Their "sample" is enough for 3 plants.
Dyna grow sent me 3 jugs they make it so easy. Vegetative, Flowering (Bloom they call it) and one more I forget what for.... I'll look

She is lookin thicker in stalk and leaf and certainly much healthier and just "bulkier"

8 days old I see some strong indica traits... comparing it to other sprouts on google. Also I just took the cfl off and put a two foot vita grow full spectrum florescent in its place
