Bubba's Gift

The first harvest is dry. She came in at 1.5 oz(41g) plus 1/2 oz or so left on the plant white I try to reveg.

I've had a lot to drink and smoke before sampling, so I am in no shape to give a smoke report, but she has a great body buzz and promises to be some fine indica.

Promise to be a fine indica, That is great news! Smoke on! :rollit:

The mandala hashberry story reminded me of some smoke I got in the 80s. On a beautiful night, it had snowed, I didn't have a driver license or car and was riding my bicycle home from work at night on packed snow and ice. I was pedalling as hard as I could felt like I was a full inch off the ground/ice/snow going around turns at full speed not sliding. Totally aware of every little thing. Tingles all over.

I got home and was felling like it was the first day of the rest of my life. Like I ran the gauntlet and survived. Whew.....
Goodstuff :ciao:

I was riding my motorcycle home in the early 80s, after an all night New Years Eve party concluding with Champagne and Chili. 8AM approximately a fifth of scotch under my belt over the previous 12 hours, 4-5 hours of dancing, and I was concentrating. Took the freeway curves in stride. No problems balancing at low or high speed. Alert- alert - alert as I could be. When I parked my motorcycle in the ground floor parking lot and set the kick stand I felt a visible wave of relief. That wave of relief seemed to release all the pent up imbalance, head spinning, glassy eyed, drunken stupor waiting to get out. I fell down 3 times on the 20 foot walk to the stairs and took over 30 minutes to crawl upstairs to my second floor apartment.

My guardian spirits worked overtime until I hit 24 and started raising my first kid. I've had the opportunity to thank one of them and hope to meet others in the future. My kids are smarter than I was, they mostly smoke weed :)

A Doc Bud' grow is 3.8 cu ft promix HP w/mycorrhizae + 40-60 lbs of worm castings + "The kit." This will take 6 plants from soil mix to harvest with supplies left over to continue growing. You need a misting sprayer, lights, pots, etc For best results you also want good water, and some control over your temp and humidity.

PM Doc Bud for prices, but to my memory it was a touch under $100 plus buying your ProMix and Worm castings.

The directions are confusing sometimes, but it gets easier and folks help you :) How to use the Kit

So all i wud need to get other then the kit is promix and ewc or is tht stuff included in the kit??

Nope - buy Wiggle Worm worm castings, 2x 30lb bags for about $65 from A**zon plus Promix for about the same amount -

This is explained in the first paragraph of the link I sent before In The Lab With Doc Bud

I guess the instructions say 20-40 lbs. of worm castings. I personally, went 30lb on my first soil mix and 40lbs on my second soil mix (when I expanded to more plants n a perpetual.) You could get by with 1x30lb bag, but you also use worm castings for a top dress once in flower, and to reuse the soil a few times, so you will need more worm castings eventually

You also might buy the Solo 419 sprayer while at A**zon. Ihad been using tiny sprayers. I just used the solo sprayer for the first time today and I like it :)

6 x 7-gallon GeoPots cost me about $60 delivered. You probably already have 1 gallon pots or can get them from a local nursery.

awesome brotha thank u i really appreciated the help cause i so wana get those nice frosty buds like u an bb have going an i jus see so many beauties coming from docs gear and ur rockn the shit out of it so i think after i use this soil up or maybe sooner i will be switching to docs kit and try giving hi brix growing a try and then see if i don't get better bigger buds and get the results tht look like urs and bb14s grows and maybe this harvest will have more frost on it def. more then last time but still not as much as i really want but maybe with more time it will frost up more I'm sure it will and now i got temp issue under control i believe still waiting for a hot day out side to really judge it n c but yea now i started using malted grains there has been a big improvement just not quite as big as i wuda hoped but it is still kinda early the breeder of my early vixen said 8 to 10 weeks and she has only been in for like roughly 6 so lets hope she swells up and puts out frost sum more but yea thank u again for the info really excited to give high brix a shot

Don't sell your LOS growing skills short. Now that you have a good cooling fan, I expect to see some serious frost out of your flower tent. Doc has said, getting your environment under control is the first step in growing great bud :) Maybe not an exact quote, but it's something I remind myself of each week. Inside my brain it's Doc Bud saying it :) Doc has developed a great method that combines Living Organic Soil (LOS) and easy-ish bottled nutes and foliar. Now that I lowered my flower tent about 5 degrees (83 to 78F) and 5% from the max relative humidity (66 to 61%), I am seeing more frost - but these are some high quality sativas seeds too :)

Bobrown has some seriously frosty strains that grow those frosty buds :)

First up, the younger gal in the flower area, AK47 XTRM. At 28", She has put on about 9 inches of stretch since the flip.

AK47 XTRM. This is one of the first days her buds are looking like buds.

Lilly (36 days) She has really frosted up in the last 4 days. She's a good girl. About 42" tall.

Lilly's buds are a little bigger each time I look at them :)

Remember when I said Ace Mix doesn't need to be tied up, she's just basking in the lights. That appears to have been a total misread of the situation. When I brought her out for her foliar, Her arms splayed this way and that way.

Ace Mix (36 days) with arms akimbo in the right side of the flower area - after her stroll and foliar spray.

Ace Mix with four arms tied up. Her top cola reaches 46" tall.

Putting Ace Mix into restraints left space to graduate 2 girls from veg to flower

Carnival (day 1) about 5 inches taller and wider across the canopy than when I tried to put her into flower the week before last.

20170520_162648-1.jpg

Borderliner (day1) I think she came in at 18" high and 16-18" across the canopy

20170520_163318-1.jpg

I love those fat indica leaves. She might go taller next round, but I wanted to fill the flower area :)

20170520_163332-1.jpg

Five girls in flower. Until I harvest all the 10-gal pots, 5 plants is the limit.

20170520_195300-1.jpg

The little girls are up front and the tall ones in back. I might move them forward later as flowering progresses. As of now, I see no pistil changes, just bud growth.

The cost comes in somewhere around $200 to run six plants through three cycles. Considering the quality of the harvested produce its the best $200 I've spent in the past two years.

Lets use Duggs last harvest for example...30 zips into 200 bucks= 6.66 a zip...assuming similar yields, 6.66 divided by three runs=2.22 an ounce...cheerz...h00k..:Hookah:

Thanks for that. not much per oz is it. you can even figure water, light, rent, or whatnot go crazy and figure 9.99 o zip. Nice!

I knew someone could have that math ready faster than me,
Thanks dr.h00k.:thanks:

Edit: thanks for the congats Rad!:allgood:
you rock.....
