So my conclusion to this experiment is smaller is better starting out. I couldn't find exact sizes in both pot to do a better comparison. I would imagine i would have had similar results had they all been 1.7 ltrs. Most of these ladies will go to 1 gall smart pots by the end of the weekend. By the all of these gals are in ff ocean soil. They stay around 85 degrees and 65 percent humidity.

All of these girls were purchased through seedsman.com. 11 out of 14. 1 strawberry gum, 1 alaskan purple, and one girl scout crack never popped.

So i decided to do some pruning today. I took 4 fan leaves off her. They were all inward facing blocking bud sites from light. Before i do the others i wanted to make sure i wad doing right. The first pic is of the sister to the one i pruned. This is about how she looked before. And the second after i cut. Someone just please verify im doing that correctly. Thanks a bunch.

Damn the 11 little plants i put in veg tent last week are not so little anymore. Got all of them transplanted to 1 gal Pots last couple days. Some of them have exploded. Had to drop second light yesterday to make sure they all had good light. This is going to be fun

Topped some of the little ones yesterday. Before and after pics. Put animal cookies into flower today. Crossing my fingers for all girls no boys. Never mind on the pics I'l have to get back with those, ones i took suck.

I don’t see any true preflowers yet, but I’d be willing to wager those will turn out female. Usually takes a week r so after flip to show up.

If you just made the flip to 12/12 it could be anywhere from a week to 3 weeks before seeing any preflower. Sometimes if allowed to grow long enough they might show sex in veg. Every strain is different. From what I see your plants look nice n healthy though!

So the little ones in veg tent are not so little any more. Girl scout crack, double glock and strawberry gum have exploded. I up potted a few yesterday. They're almost ready again lol.
