PW's Perpetual Playhouse

The '79 Xmas Bud is a piney tasting outdoor bud that used to hit the streets in Nov or Dec.
I'll bet it's one and the same.
As for nostalgia, I like that old road kill skunk that used to be grown in northern Michigan and surrounding northern Midwest in the 80's (We were told as kids it originated in Canada, not sure how true but while I've smelled some that are loud and similar none are quite the same.)

That Chemdog is awesome though too PW. You have such a collection not sure how you do it.

I got some great news. As I mentioned our move wiped us out financially, my wife's wallet had all of our cash. That and the family tragedy that I mentioned.
Anyway a friend and breeder on YouTube is donating me a pack of genetics to get past the Dark Plasma rut. I have been trying to find a purple clone for the wife and/or Purple Punch and this guy is giving us a cross in testing Purple Punch x PB & Jealous. Hopefully I will get a purple pheno from this.
Just outta cash and almost out of meds too. One good thing about the 16 plant system is that the early window for my number 5 is 7 weeks so if we absolutely must we can take one down at that time but I want to push this whole grow at least a week longer than before. a full 10 for both.

Sorry another question:) So has anyone built a dIY drain system for a flood table just off of the floor?
Let me explain:
I plan to have it up about 4" and currently have a square deep cake pan under the holes.
I can figure out the drip system and get Floraflex as money allows but it's the waste water I need to manage.
I thought about looking for a shallow water float switch of some kind to run a standard pump to empty the catch as it fills.
Thoughts or know of a journal/member?
Thanks again everyone!

My flood table sits 2"-3" above my Rez so I just drained waste water back into the Rez. Surprisingly the whole setup would remain very stable. Both EC and PH.

Ya mine was perfect just above the res.
Edit: Ya my question was to switch to a top feed, leave the table on the ground since my strains are so tall and I like the SOG with a net for support rather than the veg time for Scog.
Thanks!

Keep it as low as possible and still get it to drain.
Ah it's ok.
I appreciate the response.
I'll have to revisit the flood and drain with these genetics.
It could be the nitrates in Jacks but after lowering my table 20" they are stretched up again.
Safely now but 5.5+' plants in a 1 gallon pot flipped 5 days from my cloner!
They do all the growing in flower, must be why they are so damn good. like rustling cattle.
I considered using a scrog during stretch which is possible if I can keep them low enough before they harden.
I thought to try 0 veg time but I like to get them set up and see if they are all healthy etc. Might have to count the stretch period as the hardening off.
See and in comparison I have 2 Jack Herer that fill in the "under-canopy" flipped the same time these plants are only a foot tall. Barely double in flower.
That begs the question, build the system for the strains or pick the strains for the system?
For now I'll try a top feed because they are that good. I think the others from Ocean Grown might be similar. We'll see.
Anyway thanks again!

I'd set up a system for the strain, I don't want to limit myself when it comes to strains.
My thoughts exactly! Great minds think alike.
With these tall as OG Kush progeny and Malawi on the horizon best that I build it for tall strains
Here's my number 5 week 4 12/12
